Beautiful yarns! I love your idea of seven scarves in seven days - that’s a lot of crocheting! Can’t wait to see what you come up with. ❤ Also: looking forward to seeing the blanket that Cody makes with his new yarn!
Hi, Glenda & Cody. Alot of fun seeing your Lion yarn purchase. Cody is so funny, tormenting you, Glenda, with pretending to use your embroidery scissors to open the box. I burst out laughing. Cody, you have a great sense of humor! And Buzz was there today, too ❤
I made a knit log cabin blanket out of the scarfie yarns. I didn't realize that it wash lay flat to dry. I machine washed and dried it and it was fine.
The yarns are beautiful, I love Scarfie, I've never tried yellow, but I really like it. 7 days of scarf patterns would be great...thanks Glenda and Cody!
Cody is amazing and adorable…great eye candy too. Someone will be lucky to have him as a partner 😊I think it is an amazing bond that you two have. Y’all are so much fun to watch! Keep up the great work! 🥰 Love you both!
I am such a fan of Mandala. I knit with it and crochet with it. I play with the colorway, mixing and matching. If all other yarn disappeared, I could happily work with this one.
Good morning! My kitchen table is made from beechwood. 15 yrs and still going. Maybe the yarn will be just as durable! Can't wait to see Cody's blanket!
Looking forward to the 7 days/7 scarves challenge - I can imagine some beauties with beautiful yarns and interesting stitches that go well with them. Love your videos! Thank you
Good morning Glenda & Cody. I loved your video, I look forward to seeing you both together. I loved the yarn. My favorite is the Fall color one. Thank you for sharing.
I really appreciate your input on the different yarns. You two are the only ones doing this and it is so very helpful. The level of details you give is the best. I buy yarn online only and usually don't have a good description to rely on so your opinions and insights make a difference. Thank you.
Oh the Scarfie! When I saw it on clearance at my Michael's I bought two of each color and have turned them all into shawls for gifts and to donate. I give antique pins along with them that I picked up antique shopping. Now, you have me thinking again! lol 🤔 🫶
The Landscapes Breeze sort of reminds me of the Scarfie Lite. I picked a few up on clearance from Hobby Lobby and it’s not the easiest to use but it’s so light and fun- the Landscapes breeze gives me those kinds of vibes but maybe it will be easier to frog-Scarfie Lite isn’t ha ha but I still like it. What I’m not a fan of with Scarfie lite is with some stitches, the project ends up looking like a comical rainbow cheetah print lol 🤷♀ Thanks for making that buy, I’ll be putting the breeze yarn on my wish list. Such a Grandma move to surprise Cody with some yarn❣
Thank you both for sharing. When it comes to yarn, Glenda, some of us just cannot control ourselves! Ha Ha....I am the same way. All these yarns are beautiful. Cannot wait to see what you will be making with them, thanks again.
Okay Glenda, you & Cody are such an influence when it comes to showing the different LB yarns and colorways!! Since I started watching y’all, I have gotten so many 🤪 I recently purchased the Mandala Gradients in Steel Blue and Olive! I am an avid blanket/ coverlet crocheter. Now that wonderful autumn is so close (my fav season) I am working with those wonderful colors. Here in the Deep Southern state of Alabama, I crochet with the fan on me and the a/c way down, nothing will deter me from my absolute love of crocheting!! Thank y’all so much for keeping me up with the new LB colors and keeping me from having to get out in this heat to go in search of different yarn. I will, however go out and yarn hunt in the rain of which I love so much ❤️
Fisherman's wool is one of my favorites. I made hats for males in my life one winter to battle the Chicago's weather. Everyone raved about them being warm. Scarfie looks very pretty. I am looking forward to using Mandala. I can't wait to see Cody's blanket.
Im just like you about purchasing yarn! Thanks for the yarn reviews it really helps! I also really enjoy the fact that you have Cody on your videos. I have a son named Cody, he crocheted when he was little but not any more. 💜👍👏
I didn't even realize scarfie yarn was still available. I had a project in mind last year, and it was being discontinued everywhere. I am binge watching a bunch of your videos today.
I recently saw the Mandala gradient in person. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I think it would be in my top 3 yarns. Glenda, that’s so nice of you to get Cody his yarn that he wanted. I enjoyed the video.
I spin natural fibers not all wool is scratchy that's why a started spinning my own because I can get uber soft roving and spin soft yarns, the halo of hair should never be in wool cause wool is not hairy lol that's lazy people not cleaning out the machines well during the spinning processes cause its not cost effective between fibers. My alpaca has no guard hairs I remove them and only spin the finest part of the blanket section of their fiber. But thank you Glanda for showing wool yarns also. I do use some softer acrylic fiber yarns as well and these were really pretty
Good afternoon Glenda and Cody I cannot wait to see all of the beautiful yarn you purchased from a Lion Brand in both boxes? I can't wait to hear what you and Cody both think about all of the different colorways you picked up! I've never used the landscape Breeze but it looks beautiful! Middle is a fabric made of beech trees so I think it's very similar to Bamboo at least that's what Google told me!🏝 Glenda I enjoy watching all of your videos
Love your videos and Cody is such a Gem of a grandson!! 💕 I’m going to be a 1st time Gma and watched your video on your newborn booties and I finished them last night and about to start the hat!! You are a wonderful teacher Glenda:)) 🙏
I want to make a continuous granny square blanket for my granddaughters and the colors are so beautiful and I think it would be beautiful in those colors. Hello Cody. Both groups are beautiful. Wash and dry for me. Thank you both.
