    Being the survivor of recent Indian heat, I can tell that it's not the hot days that are unbearable but it's the humid days which is fatal. There's also incursion of humidity in places which earlier remained relatively drier. Altogether, I can see a severe future of climatic conditions in my country unless there is rapid population control, ban on concretisation, increase in forest cover, pollution control among others.

    • @thecomment9489
      @thecomment9489 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Usually in India high humidity levels are observed in monsoon months but in those months temperatures rarely exceed 35-36 degrees. So not sure what you are talking about.

    • @snebis
      @snebis 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      @thecomment9489 I am talking about wet bulb temperature. It's being experienced in cities. Moreover, we are experiencing early moisture incursion into places far away from coast before the start of monsoon. Like, my city used to be hot but relatively drier during May-June months, now for last many years it's extremely humid during these months too.

      You are wrong, trees have a local impact. Trees give off moisture via a process known as evapotranspiration and this cools down the surrounding air. And of course trees provide shade for the humans but also for the soil and walls and everything. The temperature is significantly cooler in streets with trees.

    I was in Kerala, South of Trivandrum on the beach this past March. It was staying at 26-28 C at night for the low. It can be difficult for the body to cool down when it stays hot at night. I have noticed this increase of low temperatures now for the past several years. I am 63 years of age and I felt a bit of stress on my body and for the first time started using AC on the beach....which I don't like to use. Right now in South India [November] it is still hitting 32-35 degrees C. Used to be 27C for a high this time of year with the rains. So changes taking place all over India.

    You need to make inflatable mountains which are 4 to 6 km so you can control the amount of moisture in the air and the rate that the air that is coming into your region. All weather is controlled by mountains ,we could have more water on the ground but we would have to make bigger mountains for the water to accumulate at a higher point.
    The amount of water we receive is based on the height of our mountains. If the mountains were higher we would have more water because more ice would form which would put more water on the ground. The biggest problem is desalinization because when freshwater is made by taking salt out of the ocean that fresh water evaporates faster.
    We need to make artificial mountains to get our water from , we cannot continue getting our water from the ocean
    To drop the temperature we need mountains with more ice on them

Just one example of a technology, that is too cheap and obvious to catch the eye of the politicians. Concerning heat, then globally, we (being the rich people) spend more energy on cooling in the summer, than energy for warming in the winter. I suggest it should be mandatory, that air conditions should be powered by solar energy only. We have to do something. The idea, that 1,4 mia. @@lorylovechan8362 Not really. I live here all my life. There are also dry months which starts March and ends June or July. The last half of the year is rainy season.
      I consider rain as both blessing and curse. Rain is our source of drinking water.
      Did you know that in the future countries will fight a war because of drinking water? That's climate change.

      It's easy to understand with very basic science.
      Warmer air = more evaporation = more precipitations. In fact, total yearly precipitations on Earth will increase as the global climate gets warmer.
      However, warmer air can also hold more moisture. This means that while there will be more precipitations in the world in total, rain will fall less often, meaning an increase in the likelihood of droughts. But when it does fall, it is more likely to very very intense and cause flooding because as I explained, warmer air can hold more water.

I think this doc is leaving out the bad management of water works in the country caused by government corruption. No amount of environmentalism is going to make wells and pipes and pumps full of clean water appear.

    My ex-wife is Indian, and she left me and had a restraining order placed on me based off of lies she told the judge for her to steal my daughter, and money. She eventually confessed after evidence came up proving that she lied. My toddler daughter grieved my loss so badly that she regressed and became special needs.
