I think the reason why many English have underdeveloped maxilla and palate has something to do with how you speak. I come from the Philippines, and they way we speak requires our tongue to touch the roof of our mouth most the time. However, mine has been underdeveloped as well as I suffered from colds on a regular basis. My relatives would often comment that I breathe through my mouth. Only recently that I fount out I have severe allergic reaction to dust mites and pollen. I needed septoplasty in 2012/2013. I wish we had TH-cam and the Internet when I was younger, and I could have avoided septoplasty and braces with your advice. All my siblings have perfect bite except.

"When your dad's gone, who are you gonna test your ideas on?" or at 12:27 saying wouldn't it be better if he hadn't gone into orthotropics. Poor John was hurt but still managed to give a fantastic reply at 12:35. Absolutely, you have no idea how many people you both have helped 🤗❤️

2 brilliant men. I hope they don't get too set on what has been working for them though. When I see Mike talk about "getting his daughter to consciously change things" i wonder if that's the right path to take. I feel like especially in younger kids it's more about reconnecting them to breath/relaxation and introducing more and more health promoting habits, (diet wise, movements, sun exposure etc.) Consciously "standing up straight" for example is just adding muscular tension in many cases and it's not productive for the "bigger picture"

    • @joblakelisbon

You will most certainly receive an OBE at some point Sir John, so you might as well assume you have one now!!!
It really interests me that you are of the decided view that if I a five year old keeps their mouth shut malocclusion doesn't develop. Thank you.
Do you have a decided opinion about the adequate provision of vitamins A, D and K2 prenatal and postnatal with regard to jaw and teeth formation and development though please?
I believe Dr. Steven Linn seems to have decided that these seem to be more if an important feature in his mind in early development and after 5 years old than a closed mouth! But I may easily be wrong! And just have a mistaken impression!
When Dr. Weston Price did his work, it certainly seems odd to me that all if a sudden, just kind of co-inciding with a different diet, faces got longer!! But then again, if the muscles didnt get the exercise they needed and posture they needed to develop optimally, like the rest if the skeleton, the face wouldntcdevelop normally either.
I guess what I am attempting to say is, that if you have adequate vits K2 A and D, maybe development of the teeth and jaw is optimum and one just dies not need to open ones mouth to breath!!
I dont expect you busy amazing men to read this! However, I have a neice and nephew affected. I also studied medicine and have a keen interest in your ground-breaking amazing work!!

I mean i cant help it the tongue is always there on the roof my mouth!

I mean I totally love them, respect them and admire them... They might change my life forever! I started mewing and like fixing posture, how to chew, swallow, eat sit etc..... For 1 year (I was 16 years old) now it's over 1 year and my face just changed completely.......I wasn't exactly a mouth breather but I didn't have the tongue on the roof of my mouth. I had problems breathing though.... It all got fixed.... Unfortunately they got remove from the council... Because THIS IS THE TRUTH!!!

Just watched the Documentary and it’s so odd that their mom was never mentioned! Why was this so secretive? A mum had something in this whole story. Kinda shady tbh. All three kids say nothing about their mum the whole documentary. So weird.

@@Chico_Lachowski you are wrong on one thing neither of us is paid anything for the time we spend helping others on TH-cam.I personally am quite sure you are mewing incorrectly and almost certainly your tongue is still touching your teeth. It only takes a feather to move teeth and most irregular teeth and unattractive faces are due to the tongue displacing the teeth and jaws. Prof John Mew.
