I think Reach looks more visually pleasing. I like the gritty, darker tone better than Infinite. It just fits the Universe better. Not to mention the texture of the Armor and guns just look better too. Also more gritty and life-like by comparison.

I'd say the brute shotgun pistol is more like the shot gun pistol from 3 it's basically the same gun with a different design and shells instead of the energy spikes from 3 but it's reach so I can't remember if it's in reach

I think it comes down to:
Halo Infinite has higher polycount and more little design details
Halo Reach has WAY better lighting and textures. Compare anything in g ame from halo reach to its Halo Infinite counterpart and Halo Infinites better models are just RUINED by the dreadful lighting making everything look like chewy plastic.

very well put. That and the audio design really holds another large contributing factor to the feel of the game. And Infinite's....ehhhh it ain't too great. Everything sounds "squishy" which drops the weight of the game for me (just look at the g-hammer)🤢

It’s the little things about a game that can truly make all the difference in the word. I have never been more immersed by a game more then reach. Based on the comparison it’s clear to see why. From the way the Spartans screen would shake slightly from the recoil to the feeling that would hit every time death was around the corner on a one shot, not the mention how the weapons would create a more visually satisfying effect bungie really held the heart of halo that 343 has yet to ever capture back. There games are technically aight but feels more easily tiresome. Hoping halo 7 finally gets it right

It's why I can't stand Infinite. It doesn't look bad I guess but it just looks so flat and boring. Even the sound effects don't feel like they have any weight behind them
