I really have a conflict with the vehicle explosions, they feel really weak, and not having any fire after they are destroy, make them look weird. I remember halo 3 and reach having great explosions and particle effects.
It's the little things in halo 5 that I like more than infinite for example the hand designs you can see the stiching and patterns not bad for a 2015 game
Because h5 was a full price game. The marketing worked it’s magic on the fans because even on 4k 60fps HI doesn’t look better than H5. Decreased FOV, dull sounds, weak feeling guns, weak particle effects, weak SFX sounds, and less detailed guns makes HI feel so much less immersive than H5 multiplayer. Also, I actually enjoyed the boost mechanic in H5 it added so much tension and dimension to 1v1’s gave to some pretty epic 1v1’s. Overall very disappointed w HI. It feels Halo black ops 1 edition .
Halo Infinite's gungoose is actually useful unlike the other variants. Its handling, quicker rate of fire, and it's explosion on impact makes it convienent.
Damn, Halo 5 explosions, although weak are still leagues better than Infinite's, and the Needler actually has a bunch of nice effects of shattering crystal debris. Pretty nice touches. Halo 5's explosions look dynamic and aren't just gifs
While the explosion are better than infinite I wouldn't go as far to call them dynamic both are really garbage the vehicle explosions in the newer games seem to be getting worse and worse
That's one thing about 5 I fuck with is the explosions and weapons fire is so explosive and over dramatic, seems kinda inspired by the doom remakes way of making the gameplay feel like you're really doing a lot of damage. It's something I wish halo infinite had more of, but I still prefer infinite's gameplay
Higher geometry in Infinite but the water effects look better in Halo 5. Halo Infinite is an interesting game when it comes to graphics, it definitely looks clean but you can tell it is a cross gen game. Nothing about it screams next Gen to me at all. I would love to see a new Halo using the unreal 5 engine and nanite. Talk about incredible.
@@rickjames5998 it's what Unreal 5 uses. It can literally push billions of polygons per frame and use movie quality assets in games. It's truly next gen.
Is it me or is there something way more nicer in the color, special fx, and lighting in Halo 5. Like it’s not “better”, but there’s something that Halo infinite is missing that Halo 5 has in terms of visuals.
I noticed this in terms of the landscape and atmosphere, but I do believe this is due to Halo 5 having more a ‘matte painting’ effect with it’s levels, as they are more traditional game stages comparatively; Since those majestic backdrops are just that, dynamic backgrounds surrounding stages that aren’t built for gameplay or explorable, so they could implement more values and such that lend more grandeur or even ‘feel’ larger despite it being a smaller playing field.. I agree one doesn’t strike me as totally superior; The set dressing and world building would be handled very differently between the two and I think that’s the main reason we feel something is missing from Infinite.. Perhaps.
I do like the multiplayer to some degree, but it had some balancing issues. The Magnum for example was way over powered, and shouldn't have completley over shadowed the Assault Rifle, or other weapons like the Battle Rifle. I think Infinite's Pistol is a much better balance for multiplayer, as it I would rather still use the Assault Rifle over it, but it is also an amazing side arm to switch to if I run low on ammo, and still provides enough damage against the Enemy to the point where it's not useless. It's honestly a perfect combination of the Fire rate of the Halo 2 Magnum, mixed with the damage of the Halo 3 Magnum. I'd say it's at least on par with, if not a little better than the Halo Reach Magnum. Next to the M60 Magnum from Halo CE, it is probably my favorite Handgun in the series thus far. And it even makes sense lore-wise why it it does less damage than some of the previous Sidearms in past games, since it uses a 10 x 25 mm round, versus the standard 12.7 x 40 mm round we are all used to.
I hated the explosions in halo 5. The multiplayer was mostly unplayable for me I couldn't see through all of the explosions and shit going on and it looked like a damn michael bay film.
@@fungusamongus9686 get gud literally the game slaps you just need to stop getting naded so easily, also with infinite I feel like grenade aoe has changed and I personally don't like all the new grenades they put in like it's bs to take full shields down simply because someone planted an electric grenade right at the door I was running through and it clipped through the wall. But when I use the electric grenade it does fuck all
I honestly prefer the sound effects from Halo 5 more than Infinite. The sound is more satisfying, more detailed and overall crisp, whereas Infinite, they're alright but sometimes just feels bland in comparison to Halo 5
Infinites sound design lacks the punch and power the original halo trilogy and 4 & 5 had. Each weapon sounds muffled in my opinion. The biggest offenders is the gravity hammer, energy sword, and sniper No weapon sounds unique anymore. In the older games each weapon was so distinguishable by sound, you just don’t get that in infinite. They all sound so bland
Halo 5 feels like a natural evolution in the series, while Infinite tries way too hard to be a nostalgic mixture between old and new that end up lacking identity.
Is it just me or do the ground textures in Infinite lack a PBR pipeline? They don’t seem to behave like real textures would and it makes the game look older than it is.
I think the game is full of PBR, it's just that they use the same looking textures most of the time, some of the metal should really be reflective, but for some reason they didn't goddamn do that, 343 is really metal allergic. I hate them for one of those reasons, though, the combat and movement is really great for Multiplayer in Halo Infinite, praise them for that I guess. Also, the color variations in the game are bland, that makes it look so plain, including the models that were made. The lighting is miles better than last year's presentation of Infinite's campaign, yet, they aren't still as good as they should be. It is dynamic though, so if anyone is reading this, comparing it to PS4 Exclusives, just know that TLOU2 has static lightmaps for the environment, which means they're pre-calculated for global illumination and can't be move, or not the shadows or G.I will be out of place. Also, this game's Ambient Occlusion is goddamn out of hand for me, everything can look good, but not as natural as it should.
@@Spaceman500five Physical Based Rendering, in very very simple words, it can make a texture look 3D, there are special layers for that, which developers call it, maps. There are NormalMaps, MetallicMaps, RoughnessMaps, and DisplacementMap....ETC. There are also Cubemaps for reflections, but they are placed 1 by 1 which makes them harder to use, there are also dynamic cubemaps too, though that's a bit complicated.
I’m halo 5 there is the spartan rank or SR rank which shows your level through xp earned by accommodation in gameplay matches like medals kills and things and infinite has no experience earnings other than for the battle pass items. Nothing for character development. This is a problem I don’t like very much. I could go on all day actually with what they’re missing 🤦♂️ ❤️ HALO
It's like 343 is trying so hard to forget 5, that even all the progress and improvements they made with it, they threw away too. Halo 5 multiplayer perks and leveling were awesome. You could purchase upgrades or grind and still be rewarded equally.
@@nicholasdonin1465 yeah , they tried so hard to be different than 5 they changed Art styles , progression system, campaign storytelling, just the whole game in general
Progression system in Infinite is awful, and so is the monetization, and they made the same mistake with 5 by releasing the game bare bones. But character development for the multiplayer? What?
@@nicholasdonin1465 the req system was extremely fair imo. Only improvements I would make would be to put in vehicle skins so it would cut down on the bloat. And purchase items individually but at a high cost(in-game currency lmao).
Unfortunatly, the efforts put into a new engine, running on new hardware really hasnt given us a game that reflects those efforts. It feels like the H5 engine could have been simply scaled up and settings cranked a new hardware and we could have had basically the same graphics, but a more fleshed out game sooner. The open world really isnt worth it.
They didn’t make a new engine man… the HI engine is the Halo 5 engine, which is the halo 4 engine, which is the halo reach engine, which is the halo 3 engine, which is the halo 2 engine, which is the halo ce engine, BLAM 🤣🤣🤣
It is a new platform completely. Just not a good one due to the difficulty working on it versus prior titles, the performance issues and networking issues. If they could recycle elements they would and they simply couldn't.
Not an amazing improvement if I’m honest we waited ages for INFINTE so I hope it’s good looks pretty much similar h5 looked better in some parts which is already not great but let’s see
Well personally I prefer Infinite's style over Halo 5. Plus played on 4k display, Infinite does look great. overall I belong in thag group who just wasnt that happy about the art direction of Halo 4 and Halo 5. While technically they were great looking games, the art style of Infinite is much better imho
I really gonna miss the thruster from H5 :c It felt more technological, immersive and gave the Spartans a lot more mobility and action in combat, thing that make Spartans, Well, Spartans in combat. HInfinite felt like a little throwback in that aspect, Spartans seem more dumb in their mobility and I kinda see them slower and a little less immersive. I don’t know, maybe is a personal thing, but I kinda prefer H5 in action/movement aspects. Graphically speaking, we cannot say anything because still in beta :b
@@JaiMikell the boost wasn’t useless at all lol what. It was an extremely useful tool for navigating the map, taking cover, changing angles in fun fights, getting to jump spots, etc. I miss halo 5

This just gives you a whole new appriciation for halo 5 and how good it actually was back in the day, specially when you compare how the playstation exclusives from them hold up now.
Halo 5 can’t even touch one single PlayStation exclusive from that time, graphics wise. I mean look at the flat non existent textures on the ground. Killzone Shadowfall looked way better for example
@@azured909 i was gifted killzone this year and when i played it, i just have to disagree. Imo halo 5 looks way better than shadowfall. And even infamous and some other games from the time.
Even the h5 hand looks better. I thought h5 really nailed the art style and over all graphics. I loved the movement and that wasnt for everyone, pair that with atrocious story line to fuel the hate. Great game sad it got slept on so hard, looks at the stardard of quality then vs now.
No, it doesn't. The H4/5 Spartan designs were ballsacks. The over textured hands and bodysuit were atrocious and made the Spartans look like cartoon power rangers.
@@higglybiggly1174 “details are only good when I like them” energy. What an ass take. Halo 5 seemed nitty and gritty compared to halo Infinite. Halo infinite doesn’t look like a next generation game.
with all do respect for me personally i prefer infinites graphics more; yes spartans are space super soldiers but they textured and details from 4/5 were such a drastic change from what halo previously established the armor to look like that in my opinion isn’t as good as infinite. texture quality they’re roughly the same 4/5 just had extra details added, infinite doesn’t
@@jlmoose3511 ur welcome to that opinion. But at the end of the day, you like the style of h:i more. H5 100% has higher fidelity graphics... its extremely clear.
If you don't mind "advanced" movement then yes. It is by far the best halo. I could see why classic fans gripe with it...but that's what halo mcc is for.
The explosion of the rocket from the rocket launcher sounds like a firecracker in Infinite it's underwhelming and it makes me kinda sad, but I love the design of the infinite weapons in general.
My one real hard gripe on Halo Infinite is when you check her needs at warthogs It doesn't flip them over like how it used to when they use the blam engine, I feel like I like the physics of the lamb engine on Certain vehicles with explosions
They really need to start doing more with this game. Fix the butter wheel vehicles and for the love of god let us unlock stuff faster. Like really. 32 years old now. Grew up on Halo and this game is so unrewarding. I almost just don't even care about winning unless it's ranked. Which is also extremely slow passed progressing. It hurts man. Makes me not want to play.
Still confused why they used the reach model for the Assault Rifle. Also the BR is the Halo 2 model for some reason. Isn’t this game supposed to take place AFTER Halo 5???
They're not the same guns, Halo Infinite has the MA40 AR, which overall for me, looks way nicer, same with the BR, the name is BR75, which is different from the BR55 from Halo 2. Halo Reach has the MA37 AR, it looks great, though I think Halo Infinite's AR looks nicer and modern, same goes for the BR75 compared to Halo Reach and Halo 2.
@@chrisfaille4774 Both are great, I completely forgot about Jetpacks, damn they were nice to remember as I grew up with Halo 4. I hope Infinite will have that as time comes.
I’m actually going back and playing H5 after beating Infinite, and honestly (IMO) it’s a better game . While H5 story was a massive missed opportunity (why do halo games insist on “surprising “ us with there story mode ) there is a huge variety in weapons, situations , environments, and tone . The Spartans have way more ability’s and fun ways to kill in H5 then in HI , and the characters are much better . I mean honestly why should I give a flying fuck about a Spanish (?) deserter pilot who’s personality constantly changes between basket case and carefree jokester ? Also when I play H5 I feel like I’m part of an epic spec ops team of soldiers taking part in a massive war . In HI I feel like someone just dumped master Chief in a larger version of H1 first few levels . There is no variety in missions everything is “hey go kill that dude “ but there is no sence I’m part of something bigger or a on going battle . For example why doesn’t the banished try to retake my FOB’s ? Also I love cortona , but FFS she LITERALLY destroyed planets yet we are supposed to believe MC would be conflicted about deleting her ? I feel like something big changed during development of HI . It just feels like there is a a lot missing from it . As for multiplayer , both are great but I miss Warzone in HI . I loved that mode
I agree with you, Halo 5 is better than HLI, I fell like a soldier in a big war, in Halo Infinite, just only you know how to drive, but your marine is just like toys...
The fact that Halo 5 gives infinite a run for it's money, or that it's even on the same level of comparison has to tell you infinite was more of an enhancement than an actual upgrade.
what? I don't think anyone thinks halo 5 give infinite a run for its money. The art style, weapons, sandbox, mp, campaign are miles better. halo 5 just has better effects, which infinite can surpass eventually.

The art direction was just SO weird in Halo 5. Like half of it is INSANELY detailed technology while the other half is flat clay like surfaces that look like ps2 textures from a far, while up close it looks like smooth clay. But then you have the seeker helmet… so weird.
This is why people hated h5 people thinking forge maps are real maps created by developers instead of 1 man in is closet yes they gonna look like clay low res maps
Believe it or not Halo 5 was not liked by the majority of Halo fans. It was tolerated because it was the newest halo game. Halo infinite feels like it falls in between 3 & Reach. as some one who fell off halo after Reach this game is such a breath of fresh air. It feels like halo again, I can only imagine how the halo 5 fans feel with the lack of thruster movement on top of playing halo 5 for damn near 7 years. But you can’t please everyone unfortunately. Hopefully they can take feedback and apply it critically and usefully to help bring in some of the halo 5 fans. But damn does it feel good to be back with a traditional halo experience.
Needler: Close one. Halo 5's sounds for the needler are very... eh, but I do like the design other than the hologram emitter coming from the side. I'm giving this point to Infinite, I like the sound better and the reload animation looks really good. Water: Not even close. Halo 5 blows it out of the park. The new engine for Halo Infinite isn't really friendly to Particle effects. Grass: Halo Infinite's grass looks AMAZING, but it doesn't really move like Halo 5's does which can be a turn off for some. I'm still going to give the point to Infinite though, since it does look really good. Trees: No contest. Halo Infinite has MUCH better looking trees. Plasma Pistol: Almost exactly the same and I don't like the sound for either. No points. Warthog: Sound goes to Infinite and design goes to 5. I think the further back camera angle on the turret feels a bit off, so I think 5 takes it barely. Mongoose: Infinite, no contest. Sidekick/Magnum: Sidekick is SUPER fun to use in multiplayer if you know what you're doing. It's a great secondary weapon and fits a lot better into the sandbox than the magnum does. Explosions: Halo 5 has that initial flash that really gives the explosions impact. If Halo Infinite had this, it wouldn't even be close, but I got to give it to 5. Halo 5: 3 points for mostly particle effects and design choices that I find better looking. Halo Infinite: 5 points for an AMAZING environment and texture work. I also LOVE the weapons and sound design. It's a truly fantastic looking game until you start blowing things up.
Yeah, some things that Halo 5 did better than infinite is water particle effects especially with grenades. 343 could make it better down the line but I don’t know

Halo 5 is such a beautiful game. I remember the first time I played it on my One X after upgrading & the visuals blew me away. I don't mind the return to a more classic art style, but technically, Halo 4 & 5 are arguably peak Halo.
HI is the Modern warfare series. Gritty, slightly more realistic colors, back to basics. H5 was the Black ops of Halo, more popping colors, future innovations ect.
The takeaway from this video is that the SIMPLER the better, 343 tried to be way too cool with Halo 5 adding a whole bunch of unnecessary BS, busy HUD, armor designed and weapons, everything is over-the-top. The reason why Halo CE was a masterpiece is because it took the principles of PC Arenas and made it simpler for consoles, that formula untill this day is one of the best, which is the reason why so many people are playing Infinite and cannot put the controller or their mouse and keyboard down.

Also, I actually enjoyed the boost mechanic in H5 it added so much tension and dimension to 1v1’s gave to some pretty epic 1v1’s. Overall very disappointed w HI. It feels Halo black ops 1 edition .

I’m surprised that halo 5 has more attention to details (in things that always been since the launch of the game)
Careful what you say, you might trigger off some child like fans
Makes me think if Halo infinite delayed another 2 years.
@DRACXO 60 fps on an Xbox in 2015 was worth it.
How h5 looks and runs better on worse hardware than infinite. I will never know
Higher geometry in Infinite but the water effects look better in Halo 5. Halo Infinite is an interesting game when it comes to graphics, it definitely looks clean but you can tell it is a cross gen game. Nothing about it screams next Gen to me at all. I would love to see a new Halo using the unreal 5 engine and nanite. Talk about incredible.
whats nanite
@@rickjames5998 it's what Unreal 5 uses. It can literally push billions of polygons per frame and use movie quality assets in games. It's truly next gen.
Another thing to mention, it's too clean, to the point it feels too unrealistic. Also, the effects while shooting and getting shot aren't that great.
Finally someone who agrees with me
Halo 5 looks better.
Is it me or is there something way more nicer in the color, special fx, and lighting in Halo 5. Like it’s not “better”, but there’s something that Halo infinite is missing that Halo 5 has in terms of visuals.
the halo 5 graphics seem a bit *darker* to me, I prefer that as well
I noticed this in terms of the landscape and atmosphere, but I do believe this is due to Halo 5 having more a ‘matte painting’ effect with it’s levels, as they are more traditional game stages comparatively;
Since those majestic backdrops are just that, dynamic backgrounds surrounding stages that aren’t built for gameplay or explorable, so they could implement more values and such that lend more grandeur or even ‘feel’ larger despite it being a smaller playing field..
I agree one doesn’t strike me as totally superior;
The set dressing and world building would be handled very differently between the two and I think that’s the main reason we feel something is missing from Infinite.. Perhaps.
Halo infinite is also missing a ton of weapons
art design
Halo 5 has a more modern engine than halo infinite
I love Halo 5. Such an underrated game multiplayer wise.

@@bryandsflores i always pick up the thruster when i see it. Infinite suddenly turns into Halo 5 lol

I like the H5 gloves better tbh maybe they’ll add something like it since we have the option to customize gloves now
Halo 5 feels like a natural evolution in the series, while Infinite tries way too hard to be a nostalgic mixture between old and new that end up lacking identity.
Halo Infinite has the way better art style.
Yeah I noticed that but we’ve only been given the beta for the game so far so hopefully the fully released game will be much improved
It would seem so, whole game is a major disappointment
What is PBR? I have never heard of it.

@@drawlikematt5997 lmao that one on halo 5 was a custom made map. Go to some warzone firefight maps then you can see.
Halo 5 still had some better textures idk why everyone says infinite looks great when you compare (cutscenes mainly) it to halo wars 2 or halo 5 then there is a huge difference. It has been more than 3 years and 343i can’t make decent graphics. It took infinity ward about 2 years and look at modern warfare. 343i is just plain lazy
@@zeknight4352 mmmm no halo wars 2 looked ass gameplay wise cutscenes were stunning because they were pre rendered cinematics and idk what halo 5 u played the textures are ass everything is ass, foilage, the armor looks like plastic, weapons are ugly, models are nice but not as good as infinite, lighting looks bad and spartans glow when there in shadow, i can go on, ur just in denial for some reason. infinites textures are way better in every way not sure when the last time u played halo 5 was but im assuming it was years ago and i dont think u played infinite at all if u think halo 5 looks better.
@@zeknight4352 ur comparing 2 completely diff games and devs graphics? Lol cod is ass now warzones a mess, vangaurd and cold war are soo bad. Cod is just a copy and paste frachise halo infinite is the bets multiplayer game rn cod is in last place, bf in second and infinite in 1st graphics dont mean much at all its an improvement from last year which is what we wanted
@@drawlikematt5997 yeah I was talking about modern warfare (I don’t care about vanguard or warzone) but still look at the attention to detail on modern warfare. People to this day say modern warfare is the best looking fps shooter so far.
Anyways enough about that the cutscenes for master chief and some brutes look like they are plastic whilst halo wars 2 looks like they are in real life. Idk what the hell 343i did in their 3 years (this was before the pandemic) and they couldn’t emphases its graphics. I know halo isn’t about the graphics it’s about the gameplay but seriously halo looks rushed compared to the two games we had.
Also the campaign still looks like plastic. Some of the cinematics looks rubbish in my opinion, it looks like as it was made in 2010. Even Cold War had cartoony graphics and they did a great job with the campaign actually looking decent with the water, reflection, lighting (mainly with the landscape not the guns or characters) keep in mind this was made midway from SHG to treyarch and also in the pandemic. But idk halo 5 still better, I honestly wish since this is the last halo game at least make it look even more better than your last predecessor.
Well nothing I like in Halo Infinite. The weapon sound are just horrible and boring. The explosion are the worse one in the history of video game. Maybe the graphic that can barely pass but its not really a 2021 game. Halo Infinite look more like a project started in 2009 and forgetted in a desk for 10 years. Look the tree look like they are made from graphic in 1998. I am more impress by Halo 5 that was released in 2015. No real surprise to hear everywhere people saying 343 make a mess and Halo Infinite will be a total flop and a huge failure. I believe no doubt about that
I've only heard positives from everybody so I dont know who you are talking about. Maybe last yr when the horrible demo was shown people said it flop even I thought it would. Now it seems 343 has finally made a good Halo game it only took em 2 bad games to get it right.
Halo 5 still has advantages over Halo Inf....vehicle control is better in halo 5, the weapons feel more substantial in halo 5, and I really do miss the shield break dash attack and the booster dash
Its a diffent style of game. I feel like they made infinite to get back the fans they lost from 4 and 5. The infinite gameplay is Much closer to how the bungie games played
Vehicles feel like they're either weighed down with a family of 5 or built of paper mache
@@zacoutortue009 infinite, I'm sure would feel great if it was released right after reach. But since we've had two games of changes, it's jarring and feels like a step backward. If 5 was A massive shift from the standard formula, then infinite is that big a shift from 5. It's rough for me, I really, truly love Halo 5 MP.
I agree......Halo 5 big fiesta with all the different weapons you get on respawn was fantastic. Hammer swings in halo infinite are so laughably slow
The vehicles in Infinite are like floating or some bs. People say Cyberpunk 2077 driving was bad. Like what. Infinite driving is gross. Literally almost impossible. Kinda like they don't want us driving.
I miss Halo 5's ADS
This is coming from an infrequent Halo player so go easy on me: I play alot of fps games, so I really like the fact that 5 lets you ADS, I played halo all the time as a kid and I get its a "halo staple" that its not a thing It just never made sense to me
Because in call of duty or battlefield you have to aim down sights to be accurate which restricts you to be still with minimal movement. but in halo you don't have to ads to be accurate, so therefore you can aim accurately and move at full speed at the same time putting more emphasis on gun battles making it a more skillfull game and giving you more freedom like a video game is supposed to be
@@mythrasher4049 ah okay this makes sense, it always threw me off when I was younger, but now that infinite is even more momentum based then before thats a good point
No surprise here seeing as Halo Infinite is running on a PC on ultra settings while Halo5 still hasn't even received a Series X/S boost and was never released on PC. 😕
This is PC footage of Halo 5 they did release it on PC just the forge part but you can play it as long as you have people to play with.
@@rayray3643 that's right, I completely forgot about that. Thanks for the correction. 👍
@@Nedemis it's easy to forget. None of us really ever had a full team to play with. I never got the chance to play.
Halo 5 should get a full release on PC
@@divyanshubherubahadur4752
Yeah, would be really nice, I kinda love the Multiplayer and would love to try again, I've played on the Forge one on the PC, so that I could try out how Halo with better graphics and models would look at the time before Infinite came out, it was real nice. Movement did good too.
I still prefer Halo 5 I don't know why people don't like Halo 5 but in my opinion it's a really good game I must have spent over 200 hours playing game modes like Husky Raid
Infection
Action Sack
Custom games infection and parkour
I hate battle passes with a passion they are a plague on video games and 343 have officially joined EA in terms of greed I will never purchase a single thing from Halo Infinite at least in Halo 5 the packs were optional and easy to obtain without paying for anything but there are skins locked behind a pay wall now 🤢🤮
I agree and to be honest the H5 is more new. People liked Halo 5’s gameplay and multiplayer but for some reason lots of Halo you there have been dragging it and thus many people have followed them which gives a false perception.
H5 looks like Metal Gear Solid V and HI looks like halo reach with rtx xd
Weapons in H5 looked better each with their own Smart Link.
Graphics look better in infinite but 5 looks like it has better guns, detail and aesthetic wise. Especially for the needler shoots too far too fast in that new version. Needler is supposed to be a short ish range weapon cause oh how slow it travels and how it's guided.
I just started playing Halo 5 after completing infinite and I really love the guns and details
0:55 graphic Halo 5
Halo Infinite is leagues better than Halo 5. That is all
Beseid the water
@@Thomas-qj6gi you right
No t isn't lol, halo 5 looks way better than halo 5 graphically
Weird how Halo 5 looks so good, but when you play big team, all the maps are forge creations. It's embarrassing really
Remember when everyone HATED halo 5 and hated it’s graphics and art style and everything? People are funny
That Halo 5 needler looking way better than the infinite one
Halo 5 campaign looks a lot better and the Halo infinite campaign is just a multiplayer map
Not going to lie but the aim down sights on halo 5 looks & feels better then infinite or is it just me?
It's just you.
Well, aiming down iron sights is just never halo's thing to begin with until halo 5
Nobody:
Halo 5 Needler: Sounding like a fucking laser gun
Explosions have to be way bigger. It should have that white blinding light effect like in Reach
Halo 5 is such a beautiful game. I remember the first time I played it on my One X after upgrading & the visuals blew me away.
I don't mind the return to a more classic art style, but technically, Halo 4 & 5 are arguably peak Halo.
For now H5 for me its better.
00:58 why is Halo 5 so much better?
2015 x 2021
Poderia ter uma melhoria mais perceptível nesses gráficos.
They’re bottlenecked by the Xbox One
@@zorth4729 Don't think so, they could easily make it better, Xbox One's already good, so why not make a patch for better hardware on PC and Xbox Series X?
Cara , olhando assim tô preferindo mais o de 2015 do que esse novo.
Are you people trolling? The environments look like garbage in halo 5 compared to Infinite.
@@Instantur yeah thats what I'm sayin
I’m really proud of 343 for making the halo armors look like halo and look great again
They always looked great
Hasta ganador es halo 5 , tiene detalles que lo hacen alucinante!!
reasons to play Halo 5 than Infinite:
- Only on Xbox. So you're 100% safe from hackers on PC
- 60fps on base Xbox One. Halo infinite is just 30fps
H5 MP maps were awful. Everything was made in Forge. Not to say Forge itself is bad but only Forge maps for all MP was just a terrible idea.
H5 campaign was also terrible. H5 graphics just never "felt right" either.
HI already feels a *huge* step forward for the franchise.
Honestly I prefer where they were going with 5 design-wise. As a stickler for continuity, I don’t appreciate this new retro look they’ve got with Infinite.
The moment I put my hands in Halo Infinite I felt like the graphics were inferior already. The thing I like is it feels more like the Bungie games
Been playing halo since the demo came with the xbox magazine back in 2001. Halo infinite just captures the true halo feel. Halo 4 and 5 just dont seem like the same game. Couldn't be happier with the new halo.
Wow. Didn't fully realize how much of an improvement Infinite is until I saw this. The graphics and especially the sound and UI are massive improvements.
Dude, no offense but do you have glaucoma? The frame rate is literally
the same as on H5(60fps) and if you’re still on xbox one or series S you actually get shit on w 30fps. The only improvement is art style and lighting there is basically no graphical improvement.
@@DanielFlores-fo1ee I'm approaching this from a PC player's perspective. Feel bad for people on the old consoles cause I agree with you, it runs like shit. There's not really an easy fix for that because the game has to improve visually and the old consoles simply don't have the hardware. And there absolutely is a graphical improvement - that much should be obvious. Halo 5 had to compromise a lot of texture resolution to run on the old consoles and suffered for it.
@@DanielFlores-fo1ee yet you fail to mention Halo Infinite has a performance mode of 120fps
@@decadian yeah man Halo 5s backgrounds are flat, low textures & almost featureless.
@@chrisfaille4774 the video is deceptive tho. Because he's on PC he is only able to run H5 forge maps. He's comparing HI dev maps to H5 forge maps
H5 multiplayer gameplay is better. It's a lot more tactical.
Why do the bullets in Infinite look like tennis balls flying through the air? Does it not bother anyone else?
One of the first thing when I played with my buddy the first time. I told him projectiles are cartoonishly big. I literally said "ammo looks like ratchet and clank when fired"
Halo 5 looks awesome
Never pkayed it befire until this week. I've pkayed infinite and master chief collection. I like the look of the enemies in halo 5 al
Almost like there robotic aliens vs the traditional creature aliens with armor
Halo 5 has some better effects, but the overall fidelity and lighting in infinite is AMAZING compared to halo 5
but without good effects halo infinite feels empty. The vegetation doesn’t even move either, it’s all static
Halo 5 wins in allot of categories vs halo 5.5 … now I have to wait 6 years again for the next halo
Why is Halo 5 better? Looks prettier?
Infinite free
It dosent :D ? The only thing that looks better is the Water and probaly the sparkels form explosions. But the Overall look is much worser. Textures, details lightning did you watch the same video?
Halo 5 looks worse
@@Thomas-qj6gi “much worser” lmao
Tbh I love the vibe and aesthetic of Halo 5 10000x better, it’s much more fun to me. It baffles me how the majority have the opposite opinion.
Also fair point to make is these are mainly halo 5 forge maps being compared to infinate developer map
Halo 5 wasn’t bad but it was enjoyable to play, driving the warthog in 5 felt better imo. Weapon variants and variety was good and I liked the thruster feature because it allowed faster gameplay and mobility. Just some of the things I miss from 5.
Stop comparing forge maps. Halo 5 forge maps always have awful lighting, compare campaign maps instead.
