You should totally print the halo med kit for the face of your first aid kit on that wall.
Halo med kits can cure all ailments, even your ODSTDs.

You can use a tiny bit of dishsoap inside the visor to block fogging completely!! this is also used by divers on their snorkels
There's chrome paint on the inside - dish soap would wreck it

way late but why chrome paint and not some kind of reflective window tint. @@GalacticArmory
@@JustCallMeChurch Chrome paint is a lot easoer to use when the visor has a lot of ridges and details like with odst amd Spartan Visors. It works well for mamdalorian helmets though

I really want to do an ODST build. I don't even have a clue how I'd start and it would never look as good as this, but this is extremely inspiring to see what is essentially a 1:1 game to real life armor build.
That looks awesome, I feel like if there's ever a V2 of the armour, that making the chestplate into 3 separate pieces like in the live action trailers would improve your mobility tenfold, from wearing 15thC armour it looks like the shoulder pauldrons could be raised up a little to improve the fit somewhat, an inch at most, that way you could bring the vambrace up a little more on the arm to fit the point of the elbow better. This kit is honestly a wet dream though well done.
You should pick up some cheap active noise cancelling shooting head phones. Take them apart and add the drivers and mic to the helmet to boost outside noise levels so you can hear.

Videos on how medieval armor is worn will give you a better idea on how to use an arming shirt to attach armor for legs and chest. These armor sets are looking awesome, I wish I could get a 3d printer 😢. Gotta do the Teabag 😂 nice check for mobility. 09:22

I would recommend tucking the laces of the boots into themselves. keeps boots less likley to come undone or snag on things, its also what real military has to do. Just a thought, all of it looks great!!
Or wrap them around the boot a few times before you tie them
@@Justin_M_ agreed, I always preferred just tucking laces into the boot but I did rock the wrap around. I'm betting you might feel the same with laces on boots, and it makes you just go "ah. -hrrm" if I got that expression right🤣 that's what happens to me lol

Was wondering if you have a video or would do a video of painting and assembly ie how to attach the straps and velcro for people getting into it for the first time.
Only thing that was missed was the glove pads, love how it turned out though .. great job yall.
We were tempted to buy the real ODST glove covers, but I didn't want another layer of material covering my gloves when my articulation is already compromised. 😅

Could you apply a layer of clear vinyl wrap or car paint protection film to the inside of the visor and then apply an anti fog coating to the film? That way the chrome paint is protected and you still get anti-fog. Or possibly use vehicle ceramic coating?

How do you guys keep the forearms from moving around? I can’t keep mine from shifting around 😮 my ODST gear is set up for airsoft 😂

You should release a 3d printer file version of the kit cause personally, I'd love to customize the colors and such for mine if I did one

I heard a tiny bit of dish soap will keep your lenses from fogging up. Maybe try it out? Cant wait to see you giys posing together in your armor.
The inside of the visors are airbrushed with chrome. Dish soap would only strip the unsealed chrome paint right off.

You guys really aught to 3d print some ducting and put a 120mm fan in that helmet. It'd be WAY quieter. A mic and speaker might be in order too for the outside world.

It was angled further down to be more in line with the arm in later wears of the kit!
