The good - the cyclist who stopped at the red light, then called out the arsehole in the ute behind him who ran the red. The bad - the cyclist hanging onto the car in front of him to get a lift up the hill. And of course, the ugly - that last guy blocking traffic. Also, personal highlights were the tradie push-starting that guy's motorbike (legit best guy in this month's video), the guy who pulled the Blues Brothers parking job (well done, just take it off public roads), and the van that drove straight through the T-junction without even bothering to stop or turn (made me laugh).
The cyclist hanging onto the car has been doing that many times a day for nearly 20 years. Don't think he's ever pedalled up a hill. Not trying to justify his actions- but he's VERY good at it, he never has , or causes an accident and most of the time the driver has no idea he's there. Yes, I know him, and no, I'm not mentioning names. I, myself,in a long urban cycling career, was way too proud to ever do that. I fucking pedal!

His theory: everyone else stops to look, so if you just keep going you'll make it through in that moment when everyone else has stopped. I never sat in any car he was driving ever again after that. I think you should always hesitate just briefly at a roundabout. It's worth spending that extra second or two to check for cars around you. I've seen plenty of close calls because one person, the other or both, didn't bother to check for other cars. I've seen one crash because of it (I think everyone was fine) and if the driver on the right side of that lady had stopped at all, the crash would have been avoided. I think everyone should be a defensive driver (no need to go overboard) or at least pay more damn attention...

To be completely fair, the driver was paying attention to the road in front of him, not the contents of the ute off to his right. Keep in mind a) we're watching for this, we know what to look for and all we're doing is watching (he's driving, paying attention to the car in front of him, paying attention to the lights, his own speed, the road, weather conditions, etc.) and b) the cam has a different viewpoint than the driver. It's a high wheel-base, so anything that drops to the ground like the cylinder did would be easy to miss. You're telling me you've never run over anything in your life?

John Doe well the cyclist shouldn’t even have done that!! It’s highly dangerous and probably illegal, I could just easily say I had to suddenly brake because there was something on the road that could damage the car or I saw someone about to walk onto the road

I cycle and I would never dare touch another person's care simply because that's bloody rude and dangerous as you guys have mentioned. But last time i haven't been out for months on my bike and got really tired quick on an uphill and so grabbed on to my brothers motorbike for a quick hitch since he was in the area. But is it illegal to grab onto something else while cycling? Never knew that

That first one WTF were they thinking? The second one is one helluva lucky motorcyclist ... nice job people ---so many close calls too and heaps of red light runners including friggin cyclists ... That cyclist at 9:36 needs to be shot - they held up traffic for a full 30 seconds once they were in the middle of the lane. Another fantastic video - very enjoyable. thanks
