  • Me and my cousins going up California State Route 168. It is an east-west state highway in the U.S. state of California that is separated into two distinct segments by the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Great video. Love SV650's. Just bought a '23 blue SV and really enjoy it. I've lived n Idaho for over 30 years and miss California's weather and tons of great roads. This place can't compare to where you ride. Just the Sierras have countless beautiful windy roads. I'm about ready to move back just for the riding. Used to go up highways 108, 4, 89, 88, etc. Never been on 168. My brother and I are heading there in July on our Z900's. Should be fun. Thanks for the video.

I'm gonna check out the highways you mentioned! The 168 is nice, wide, and open. It takes you to beautiful Shaver Lake and China Peak Ski Resort. I love SV650s but one thing about them is the wind!!! Lol. How are the Z900s?

@@WILDARMS_TV I have a '22 Z900 and my brother has a fairly new Z900RS. Both are really quality built bikes. Both are really torquey 4 bangers. You can take off in 4th gear without a hiccup. Both get about 50 mpg. The RS is really comfy, but the Z is a little jet. Power everywhere. I sold a '20 MT09 and much prefer the Z. We're leaving in about 3 weeks and I'm stoked. Hope to see the Pacific Ocean again. Can't wait. Cheers.

Hey bud. What your honest opinion. On the sv? I will get one soon for sure if I am sure that I won’t get bored of it. Let me know what you think.

My honest opinion I will never get bored with the SV when commuting in the city or in the mountains. But for straight long rides with no curves, I can’t stand the constant wind hitting me. I will only get a bigger bike with all the fairings for wind protection. Other than that the SV has plenty of torque for me. Hope that helps!
