  • This is a very easy and economical procedure and will keep extra money in your pocket out of the hands of the stealerships and will keep your Burgman running for years to come.

Thanks for your three separate oil / transmission / gear oil change videos. I bought my 2015 Burg 650 last year with 1,500 miles and the previous owner had changed the oil at 600 and before selling it. I changed oil at 3,000 to be safe but did not change the CVT or final gear oil. After watching your videos, I now have all the tools and the oils and plan to change all three this winter so that I can cruise throughout 2023 knowing all the fluids are fresh.

Good point on the modulator... I did invest in two extra brake lights, one modulates. My LED headlamps are extremely bright but aimed properly as not to blind oncoming cars at night.

Thanks so much for your videos. I have the service manual, but your videos make it much easier to see how things are done.

Always crack the fill hole first, in case you can’t get the drain oil bolt

Hey! Thanks for this video! It gave me the the idea to change the oil in the final gear. Now I can tell you, the oil looked pretty bad. So I'm really happy about to made it. Greetings from Switzerland! Safe ride!

Thanks for the video, just change my 2014 burgman 650, it was a little harder because they add a plastic cover over one of the screws.

I'll confess I was surprised by the ease of this maintenance chore. Easy is good. Seems like the right channel for me to ask, Store near me has a brand new 2018 Burgman 650 Exec. I've been thinking about one for awhile to do some long range touring. Just interested in thoughts on how the 650 would work for a larger...230 lb. guy taking some rides around America. One up with a top box...gear stowed under seat and maybe a bag strapped to the rear seat. Comfort is a big factor for me and I'm thinking the Burggie would be better than a sport tourer in that regard. Thanks again! Also...seems like Suzuki isn't building a 2019 model. Thought that was odd.

Hi Larry, I'm very new to the Burgman 650. This may be a dumb question But I'm trying to figure out if my 2007 650 is Belt driven or gear driven. any ideas? Also I thank you so much for teaching us Newbie's. I have learned so much from you.

Thanks for the videos! I'm looking at a used Burgman 650, and wondered how difficult some of the maintenance is.. since you can't see where anything is with the plastics on.

Just changed the final drive gear oil, transmission oil and engine oil & filter. Changed the spark plugs & battery the other day. My question is, my 2 1/2 year old grandson was helping me and he moved the 4 bolts that hold the plastic cover on the final drive and I can't find them anywhere! Where can I get 4 bolts or do you know the size of them so I can go to the hardware store to replace them. Thanks for your helpful videos!

Does Wes drink the oil after you have collected it? So how many mils did you get into it since you were using a graduated syringe. I'm surprised you didn't flush it before replacing your bottom cap.
