    Hey Larry! I just wanted to say thanks for making these Burgman service videos! I just recently got a 650 from a buddy at work who moved out of state and it had been sitting for a good while. All of your videos have been super helpful as I go though and give this thing a much needed tune-up/maintenance. I thought knowing how to work on cars would be this an easy task but I came to the realization that I don’t know jack about motorcycle engines so thanks again for all the super helpful videos! There are not many how to’s out there that I could find for this scooter and of the ones I did find yours are the best! Thanks again sir! 👍😁

    Hey.. Great video.
    Just a couple of questions though.. This method is realistically just drain/refill radiator an not the cooling system?
    Obviously if the coolant were to be complely removed/refilled then the air in the system would have to be removed (or air locks would possibly occur = overheating etc)
    Are there specific ways to run the engine and bleed out the air after a complete refill?
    Cheers again for a great video.

And check and make sure that the fan is functioning properly and not binding on the radiator. I hope this helps.

    Could you please tell me what kind of coolant to purchase from auto zone for my 650 Burgman

    • @ManCaveMayhem
      @ManCaveMayhem  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend ordering the Suzuki long life coolant you can get it through Amazon or a dealer. Otherwise the owners manual says this.Engine Coolant: Use an anti-freeze/engine coolant
      compatible with an aluminum radiator, mixed with distilled
      water only. At least 50% anti-freeze with the water, and
      never more than 60% anti-freeze with the water. No
      alcohol based anti-freezes. Only ethylene glycol based
      anti-freezes.

    Sir good morning. My burgan 650 has a radiator refrigerant leaking. What is the process to fix it ? Than you

    • @ManCaveMayhem
      @ManCaveMayhem  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      GUILLERMO DONOSO LINARES You need to determine the source of the leak. It could be as minor as a bad radiator cap or hose or it could be a pin hole in the radiator. You may also have an issue with your thermostat. Unless I was able to look at it I would not be able to know the location of the source. I hope this helps.

    • @ManCaveMayhem
      @ManCaveMayhem  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is an overflow bottle which should be visible when facing the bike, it will be on the lower right hand side behind the front tire there is a slot cut in the plastics that makes it (visible a sight window). I'm not sure if it is the same on the 2013's. I hope this helps.

    HI Burgman owners....I have a 2008 650 that has the cooling fan that is worn out...can barely turn it by hand and no way to lube it....Suzuki has one for 498...plus I am gonna have to pay for installation...I have an honest mechanic....does anyone know of a cheaper aftermarket fan?

    • @ManCaveMayhem
      @ManCaveMayhem  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      harleycharley Are you sure it’s the fan and it’s not just binding against the radiator I had the very same problem on my 2012 and I ended up putting a couple washers on the frame Of the fan which was bent slightly and the blades were rubbing on the radiator Causing my fuse to blow.

      @@ManCaveMayhem ....thanks...but my mechanic is a good friend and is certified by all the Japanese companies and Harley....If he says it is toast, it is....I had read several other people said the same thing...He said there is nothing binding and no provision to oil the bearings as they are sealed...It's hard to believe the cost of the fan, cut it's cheaper than a new bike and i LOVE my 650....most fun of any bike I have ever owned....

      You probably got it fixed by now. Look at SPAL fan reviews. They are the absolute best in the industry for fans. I added on to a switch on my VFR which gets extremely hot
