I remember flipping through my friends copy of the DeadBase book, which was huge. And it just had all these awesome set lists and notes about particular shows. It was fascinating and full of great info. I've always wanted one since. They aren't easy to find or cheap.
I still have the hardback DeadBase X, I wish I kept them all, but had to downsize a few years ago when I sold my house for an apartment. Thanks for this clip, I heard all about DeadHead TV, but never saw it during the broadcasts I really would like to see the whole series, all full half-hour episodes.
Sometimes I feel like I’ve been Dead basing too much. Once heard a friend say about Deadheads “they’re Grateful Dead code talking again “. Maybe something like “ Yahta Hey Now!” Hey Mike D. I did meet you in Moss Beach over 30-35 years ago at Amanda’s crib. I remember you telling me you worked for Ben Friedman the famous poster collector / seller in North Beach.
i have a copy of deadbase jr that i literally made a color code to list what i have in my own collection from cassette to cd's to video. i still add to it

I have my trusty, and well worn, copy of Deadbase IX right here...

The dead are my higher power and dead base is my bible.
Good luck with that. I deeply regret thinking something similar many years ago.
