Jamel, I hate to keep bothering you about this, but could you please try to react to the video of Rory Gallagher performing Bullfrog Blues on The Old Grey Whistle Test. It doesn't have millions of views but it is a killer live performance by one of the underrated and under appreciated guitarist of all time. The bass and drum solos alone make it worth viewing. 👍✌️

Jamal you are so cool! 😎
I have been a deadhead and a nurse in HS LPN in
BOCES for 50 years!!! Went to all the tours on
    the East Coast since 1973!!
You are our People Hippies have loved black folk always! 🖤 So many were
there with us in the beginning they all knew it was a love scene between the people, including the boys in the band. Even Paul Mooney did a playboy comedy sit down and at the end smoking a
Cigar with a bunny on each side said.".where did those cool, loving white people go..yeah man those
    Hippies!! Great people, no
prejudice in their bones at all.."I miss them" So this tune ' Not Fade Away' is a Buddy Holly song where he used his contemporary
Touring buddy the Bo Dudley's "Beat" bup ba
Bup ba ba bup bup baa!
Thanks Jamal ! Most deadheads are poor or living paycheck to paycheck, too 90% of us!

After ten years of being in the military and working like a madman, I went back to college. It was 1983 then. The group of people I dropped in with were all Dead heads, and they’d go anywhere the Dead were playing, and they had bootleg recording gear in pieces and would record every show! They had hours and hours of the Dead playing live, all over the country. What an intro for me to live Dead music, and it was clean sounding! I’d almost forgotten until I heard this! RIP Jerry G.

That was when I heard he had passed away. He was in a treatment center but he had done so much damage to himself over the years that his body couldn't handle getting clean. I took every Grateful Dead album I had and went and opened the bar early and played every track I had. It was a terrible day that I will remember forever. Big time Deadhead - almost 100 shows. I've been waiting for Jamel to do this one, one of my favorite Dead tunes. To me it is an affirmation between the Dead & the Deadheads that our love for one another will never fade away! If it is the last song at a show you will hear the audience clapping and chanting "You know our love won't fade away" on the way out of the arena.
For those who don't know the Dead did tons of covers, however they were always done in the Dead style. As the saying goes "They aren't the best at what they do, they are the only ones who do what they do".
