Wow! You are an amazing woman! God chose to bless my husband and I with just one child but he has been a sweet blessing for all of his 53 years. I was 21 when he was born. Oops! Telling my age! 😂 I felt wonderful my whole pregnancy...until the last month. I was barely moving. So watching you, at your age and 7 little blessings, is humbling to me. I think freeze drying your “mothers” from your vinegar and sour dough starter would make wonderful Christmas gifts. The little boys are so adorable. You are such an inspiration. So funny when you say I didn’t do a lot this week. If all you accomplish is homeschool and feeding and entertaining the littles I call that a win. Prays for a uneventful and positive delivery .
In the Netherlands where I live and come from, kale is our national vegetable. We eat kale ALWAYS as a stew, which means you chop it in very fine peaces and chop 2 kilos of potatoes and boil it together in a big pan, with a bit of salt. After half an hour it is ready and you do the water out of the pan, but leave an inch of it on the bottom. You stamp with a potato stamper( I don’t know the word in English) and mush it together with a peace of butter. Ad little peaces of fried bacon and you have the best winter dish ever. We eat it with sausage and fried bacon, jummie 😋
I just admire you so much. I get tired just watching you run around doing all that you do. The little boys always put a smile on my face acting silly. Can’t wait to meet the newest addition. Try and rest!

Sundays have become my favorite thing to look forward to on the weekends. I wake up early to get my chores done so that I can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching your newest video. My youngest is typically nursing to sleep for his morning nap. Thank you for making my Sundays be relaxing and fulfilling in self care ❤
I'm a momma to 13 and totally understand where you're at. One thought... I can mixed greens(Jake, swiss chard, broccoli leaves, spinach.. just whatever is handy) I put all the chopped greens in a pillow case and emerse them in a large pot of boiling water. This enables us to can 50 or more quarts at s time. Just an idea for you going forward. I thought it was a unique idea years ago when I first started using the pillow case method. Turns out that homemakers used to use a blanching bag similar to my method. There's truly nothing new under the sun. May your birth be a time where you feel the strength of God and hold your lil blessing in your arms!

I am truly envious with your food storage and how you live. I wanted 6 children and a true homestead life! Turns out my ex husband didn’t want any of us anymore and just left one day. I was then able to gain a medical career under my belt however working full time and also raiding 5 children on my own limited all things in my life! Now my children are all grown and I’m still wanting a good food preservation for my home/family. I just found ya and have been binge watching you 😊 pretty darn incredible! The lengths we as mothers go to make our childrens lives the best out of what we have! Incredible Job! Thank you for sharing all you have. It’s all been truly helpful to me. One day in the near future I will be at the very beginning of building my food pantry! 🤗
Your video arrived at just the right time here in the UK. I have been painting a doll’s crib that my Dad made for me 60 years ago to pass on to my 4yr old granddaughter and have just had a well earned break watching your latest post while waiting for the paint to dry. I love that you don’t waste a single thing in your kitchen. I made scrap apple jelly recently after watching you do it and now I need to try kale stalks in a stir fry!

I'm so glad you mentioned your age, I turned 42 in September and I have a little girl that turned 6 mo on Friday and we plan on having one more, it's nice to see other "older" mothers having children on this platform (even tho we aren't old 😄 or are we I dont know anymore 😆).

A good little easy lesson for over the winter could be to grow mushrooms in the 5gal buckets they could be dried or eaten fresh, quick growing too for the kids and everyone benefits. Looks like you're all set for the Bambino to arrive, bet everyone is so eager to meet him/her 🥰

Kale is delicious when cooked like collard greens with some smoked pork or turkey. I like Kale and spinach cooked in with my mustard greens and smoked ham hocks. Hit it with some spicy pepper vinegar and you're in business! 😀 So yummy! 😋
A great meal to make with your kale would be colcannon. It’s an Irish dish tastes fantastic.

I have to try hard to not compare myself to you and Becky especially when I face the reality that I'm much older than the 2 of you. I just had my children very late in life. I accept what I can do and enjoy watching you 2 do so much more. 💓
We had five little girls in six years and most people our age have kids that are ten years older than ours. My best friend who is ten years older than me has kids that are 20 - 25 years older than mine. We intentionally waited to have babies until my husband could provide for us financially/health insurance and I could stay home and school our children.

Yep, that snowfall is very significant where I live..Eastern NC! We get that much and the entire place shuts down and school close.
We use coconut cream for whipped cream too. We don't have a canister and just used our stand mixer. We've had the best success after putting the can of cream in the fridge for a while beforehand.
Exhausting watching you …energy overload…keeping you in my thoughts and praying when the little one is ready that you and family will be safe and blessed…my last baby was a 40 and I work as a landscape gardener year round here in the balmy south…all the way up to two weeks before delivery thank goodness it was in November and it was slowly winding down for the year…

Once your cellar is done, what are your plans for the space in your kitchen where the shelves are now? Will you add cabinets or a counter or table? Will you keep some shelves? Just curious.
I would like to add cabinets to store extra appliances and other things, but we will always keep a small amount of food storage upstairs for convenience.
You make the most of your space.we were 6 in 900 square foot home. I understand what you have to do.
That Traditional Medicinals tea company also makes a wonderful "Gypsy Cold Care" tea which really knocks out any real cold viruses, and probably a few others. I never go a winter without a box, and I often drink it beforehand if I know I'm going to a big gathering.
