Typically, CC is the one doing the heckling.
Usually here in Canada, people don't heckle much from cars anymore. I'd like to see Kasey do an entire episode where he's the 'angry dad' reviewing a camera.

Nighttime quality and noise is good overall, with an amusing kaleidoscope of skin-tones but that's due to the great variance in street lighting. It's still impressive as a vlogging pocket system. I didn't know that it has auto-focusing. How long does the battery last?
about 2hours recording time. Maybe a bit less in 4k60. Without the battery pack*

When I look at all the available cameras available to start my TH-cam channel this is the one I've been waiting for. I think I just need to buy and get started. I don't think there's gonna be anything better for awhile maybe a year but that's waiting another year I'm just gonna buy this camera and get started
I know what you mean. I tried other cameras that should have been better, but I just like Nikon color science and simply the way it does it's thing. Nothing captures my moments like my Nikons (if you have good glass).

Hard to Say what the Nikon ZS 6 mark IV / III will be , lots of rumers but they seem to settle on dual sensors with 240K MP each , one for video one for Heat vision and X-ray.
WIth 45 stops of dynamic range , and an Ai that will order coffee for you :)
Jokes aside , I spontaneously bought a ZF , I can't imagned the Z6 III just a Z6 II / Z8 hybrid body , and all the rest just a ZF with Cf express card , it'll have to do a bit more.
It's worth to wait and see , a 4k 120 is possible ,6k as well , or even 8k 30 .

Desqueezing of anamorphic lenses would be such a game changer for nikon. Not one of their cameras can do that 😢
we need a z6 III with 24-26mp, no aa filter, insane ibis from the ZF, all the video specs of the z9 + DCI + open gate + hd 480. All these things are so easy to implement, it's sad to see all these asshat camera companies not giving us these things. the consumer needs to wake up and realize that the only reason we don't have all the video features we want is because they are purposefully holding back. I love the fact that DJI is comin in hot. DJI is our savior because they are real competition that will force these asshat dinosaur camera companies to stop holding back. Nikon, give us everything or you can go die in a fire. I mean freakin everything, variably selectable resolutions, framerates and bitrates... yes it's all possible, easy to implement, they're just holding back!! the features that are both possible and simple to implement would just blow the minds of the average camera nerd.... and for photographers.. Imagine in-camera jpegs and heifs that aren't dogshit quality, all the cool features of the olympus and panasonic cameras need to be in all cameras, allow us to configure color noise reduction separately from regular NR, soooo much is possible, they're just F'ing with us!!! IT'S ALL POSSIBLE! If you want a tiny glimpse at what we should have take a look at the android app "mcpro24fps", it's insane, has wayyyy more than I mentioned here, and it's just an android app developed by like one dude!

The DJI in good light has some decent 240fps in 1080. As much as I would like the 240fps in 4k, I don’t think there is as much demand to put it on their must do list. I have the Z8 and it is just amazing. You can bump up the iso with no issues.
If Sony or Nikon were to release a camera with the specs you want for less than $3500 they would not be able to sell any of their other cameras. Personally, I would like 240fps but I have found that 120fps is adequate. I saw a used a7S III for $2200 the other day and did not even consider buying it even though I knew it was a steal. I have a Z50, Z7, a7R, a6000, a6500, G95, and X-T10. All used. Actually, the Z50 which is basically the same camera as the Z30, I bought new in 2020. I just gave it away to a friend. The others are all used.Z7($1200), a7R($500), a6000 ($225), a6500 ($275), G95 ($600), X-T10 ($240). All bought within the last 5 months since you convinced me to start doing video. I do no vlogging. Although I did just buy a Mantispod Z on your recommendation. So don't quote me on that. I see what you are doing here and I truly appreciate it. You are an amazing genius. I wish there was someone like you in every industry and for every topic. Thanks, have a stellar day.
If it was low MP with super high framerates, photographers would still want a higher MP camera so it wouldn't cannibalize too much :)
Z30 still much better. With the pocket 3 that flare on the lights is real bad, also very grainy footage. Can't beat Nikon. Don't pretend your 1" sensor matches the Z30 :)

No one except Sony will put out a low megapixel $4-5k camera. They have a perfect setup with the S- and R-series. The only real threat to Sony is if someone brings out a good global shutter video-centric camera, but I doubt it. If the A7S IV has a global shutter, it's game over again for the next few years.
I would love to hear your take on the Nikon D700 The Legend - it has an incredible fanbase and does not even do video.
you get better results in low light in normal color mode, night mode pumps the iso way to high on the osmo pocket 3 ;-))

As long as it has 4k 120 fps, NLog, Face Detection, quad stacked sensors, global shutter and other fancy things only Sony photogs can say about their cameras, that's all we need from the next Sony-Powered Nikon camera. Heheheh

If the Nikon Z6 Mark3 going to be at the price range of $2000 to $3000, at least it has to beat the Canon Eos R6 Mark2 in video specs, dynamic range, low light, full size hdmi port, screen, evf and nikon raw (internally) 🤦... Plus the basic DCI 4k up to 60p full sensor, at least give us an optional, I know it's rare, but possible and magical, 2.8k 180p 422 10-bit and FHD 360p 10-bit 422 video (full sensor). For me!!😍
But, I would love to see "A Succesor of the Nikon D500" Spirit. Better than the Sony A6700, with two cards slot, 4k 120p without crop and FHP 240p without crop, and all in 422 10-bit Nikon-Log and N-Raw Internally. A Hybride Camera that is Way better than the Fuji Xh2s, the Sony a6700 and the Panasonic G9 II. 😍
Give me a Sony HF1 (HF meaning high framerate) new camera line that can do 4K 1000 fps, 2K 2000 fps, clean 720P 4000 fps, 480P 8000 fps and 360P 12000 fps! LOL As long as there is an end trigger mode, don't care if the buffer is only 2 seconds for recording.

That would be nice but a 1 minute video @4k-1000fps would probably be around a TB of data. External recording limited to 8 minutes or so.

Pocket 3 okay in low light, but I still see LOTS of noise in your face as you walk. still no 1.2, just 2.0. a dash of street light, it cleans up. but down the street, streetlights? not good.

Would you mind sharing what your set up is for getting high quality footage to look the same on youtube as it does on your camera/computer? Do you use hevc or h.264, wide gamut colors, when I try to take advantage of 10bit color my upload looks much dimmer than it does watching the file on my computer. Thanks.

Sony X3000 FTW. (jk P3 is pretty decent. A tish noisy but very stable!) Recently I shot 960fps on the RX10iii. If you liked that 1" point-and-shoot super zoom then try a RX10 beast. 📽

The DJI performed well. Shame it does not have a replaceable battery. None of my DJI batteries last very long, so my faith in an enclosed battery by them is very low. - Frank
You can eaily find someone who can replace the battery. Any mobile phone repair shop should be able to do it.
Nikon a7S IV sounds just fine to me! After all, all Sony cameras and lenses are made by Nikon, anyway! Which is why they are so similar to Nikon cameras and lenses! Sony makes the sensors and the software only, everything else is made by Nikon! But, Sony keeps the best sensors to themselves! Until Nikon has a 48MP sensor with pixel binning and Clear Image Zoom, like the one in the a7S III (ZV-E1, FX3), Nikon will never beat Sony! Nikon has the best glass and the best mount, but without a good sensor, it's dead in the water!

4k 240 sounds like a GH7 spec
Hello, the nikon z8 except the non articulated screen and the non hd 240p, is as good as the a7SIII if you don't count the 8K. The 4K 120P is very good despite the high mpx count.
It even has like canon the "only subject detected af" and the af itself is pretty much as good as the recent sony cameras!
The Z8 raw can be 4.1K too not just 8.3k
I say that because I own a Z8 and owned a a7SIII!
Sure if you remove my favourite features, it's pretty good.

I think big 3 companies have some kind of agreement that no one will bring tech too fast to their cameras so that they can milk their buyer for long time.
Nikon z9 can do 8.3k raw@60 fps with sensor readout speed of ~1/270th of a second, if you do the math, Z9 can do 1080p @240 easily at least with crop.

i don't care about nikon. I'm just looking at that 1 inch action cam sensor and thinking what a beast! Have you done a 1 inch dji vs 1 inch insta360 shootout yet? I'm starting to think that the real reason that dji has good low light is not that 1 inch sensor it's that damn gimbal which I detest because it allows for more of the sensor to be used. If you use the cam gyro stabilization in gopro or insta360 instead of this dji gimbal that shrinks the amount of sensor you can use. I can't justify buying this dji pocket 3 because I do so much surfing and it's not even water resistant, but I keep on thinking what great video it takes.

that dji formfactor looks gimmicky af..it has to lose the gooseneck.. in the last two videos where you discuss the dji you havent covered the rational of why such a small lens is equivalent or comparable to a standard run of the mill camera lens... what gives? why even use a normal cam lens?? the dji needs a z mount .. lol

I just read on DPreview it actually does subsampled 4.1k at 120fps N-raw or 4K up to 60 fps oversampled from the 8k sensor. Now this is something the a7siii can’t do
@@ts76751 Probably looks great, but without 240 fps it's a downgrade from the A7S III. It's easily capable of doing it, and I'm already wanting more than that like 480 fps to upgrade from Sony.
Forget all of these meaningless specs. Somebody needs to change to an Android OS for the menu system that has built-in security to deter theft, and make the menu system searchable so you don't have to memorize every fricken sub-menu and function tab.
