You're getting closer! The superzoom to compliment your vlog camera doesn't need a wide end. You've already got it. Start at 200mm and imagine the speed, weight and size savings!

The OG looks awesome! The 4K is also sweet. Pounced on one for $1k CAD. Have to admit though that I always grab the OG with panny 12-35mm for walk around.
I feel like the spelling of "Hard Siliocne Cover" should have been a bit of a red flag on the DJI cover.
I bought a z30 after watching your videos, and I can't stop using it. I never took so many photos. the kit lens is fantastic with a balck pro myst. I forgot about my fuji already. I just got the 40mm tony 2 and it looks phenomenal. I am in love with photography again! thx!

For lightweight wildlife with the 70-300, should I go used XT4 or new XS20? XS20 is more expensive, I could also use the dual card slots o the XT4 for some paid video work ocasionally

You mention Zfc and Z30 often, potential in the Z6 III but how come you never say anything about Zf? It’s there now, I hate its retro layout but it does the job, full frame, flippy screen, ibis, 10bit nlog in body, but yes still poor 1080p120 max only, neverless it’s a good body for video/vloging/photo

If you have a pocket 3 and freewell filters. WARNING! DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR DEVICE when you have the Mist filter on. the filter got stuck when it turned off and the friggin gears kept spinning and now it makes ticking sounds when turning on and off and I have to send the thing back to DJI and they charged me like 50 bucks to send back to "examine". Pray they will replace it with a new one. But, I get to take out my Sony X3000 thanks to this channel I bought one. Wish it had a dead cat. oh well, there's no such thing as a perfect camera even though all we want is a perfect camera...
I turn it off all the time with the mist filter. Yours probably wasn't on right.

I noticed something you might find interesting: when I take the battery out of the Panasonic G9ii and put it in the GH6, the GH6 turns on instantly without the lag it has with its own battery. I don't know if anyone else has tried this, but it's pretty bizarre.

All were good, or rather excellent, except Canon, and each next was a step up. Still the BMC & Leica in the end were a surprise, shockingly best. I just don't get it how, why...

Nikon Z9 here, it's just over the top and paired with my 105/1.4 quality is through the roof. Yet, those dj and mobiles are superior in their own ways. Handy, small, convenient. Watch out, GAS is lurking everywhere and never fix things that aren't broken.
Ehh man, I'm having only Z lenses but the only 1 lens I'd get from the F mount that needs an adaptor is that 105 f1.4 . But I got no more budget for these things as my GAS is on hold and I'm having more lenses that I use but mostly waiiting for something similar as manual focus from 7Artisans or TTartisan. 7artisans 50mm 1.05 and TTartisan 90mm f1.25 are my most fav lenses to use on both z9 and z6ii even more than the native Z lenses I have ;D
@@dicekolev5360 get the adapter, version II, you won't regret it. The eye af is ridiculously accurate. I I even use this combo for wildlife (remote).
Your red shirt looked the most red in the BMPCC. Maybe the best looking image overall? Though I personally thought Nikon and Sony's S.Cinetone looked nice, overall, too.
The BMPCC4K would be a great addition to your vlogging setup. The tap to focus on the app would solve all of your talking head focusing needs at once. No need to worry about focus hunting. Tap and done. The next time you see a deal, jump on it. You will be pleased.

@@emanuel4292 Yep. The camera has a button for tap to focus. And their app has a button for tap to focus. I had the BMPCC4K. I switched to Sony for autofocus. But, I hope Blackmagic makes a camera with PDAF one day. I miss BRAW, Blackmagic's 12-bit RAW codec.

Have my bmpcc og bought new, Nikkor 50 1.2 had for decades, Metabones pocket 5.8 speedbooster, Will Von Tagen cage, Kinotehnik viewfinder, npf battery, magic wonderfull chunk of glass, wood, and metal. Fits in a hand, heavy enough for steady. Screams lowlight vintage, wide open beauty optics, cinema. Also have a larger 4k. Bigger, plastic, workhorse. But flexible, user friendly, 4k BRAW, Best UI on great touchscreen. Also haptic buttons, constant updates. Gen 5 color, gyro data. They keep coming up, Adorama has used. You might like it. All cinema style, not best for vlogging.
I was just looking at a OG Blackmagic on marketplace on a gimbal and a whole bunch of stuff for the price of a used iPhone 8 man, and was like mmmm, is this worth it.. 1080p 25 or 30 only, do we still do 1080p.. but seeing it, dam. It was so worth the small change, bummed I missed the deal.
how much did you pay for yours? there's one for 600 euros 200 km away and it's pretty tempting

As a desperate loser photographer. I'm currently working with a Sony a6400 as my Photography, Video, and everyday carry camera. I would like to either get a new Primary for Photo and Video, or is there a solid B camera you would recommend to the a6400? Any help is greatly appreciated!

@@nick_ndlessmedia There's nothing wrong with your camera or lenses. You should probably add a macro lens and a real wide-angle lens because they're great for adding variation to your shots with closeups and wide shots. That will give you more variation than buying a new camera.
@audioupgrades I agree. My issue is I need a secondary camera or new primary in order to have a backup during shoots
@nick_ndlessmedia Get the 5100, not kidding. You won't even know you're carrying it. Unless you need 4k in your backup.
You have spoiled me with your perfect studio lighting, it makes it very hard to watch other youtubers when they don't have as much dynamic range.
Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I have such poor dynamic range I look like a floodlight in front of an abyss.
People keep forgetting how fragile the pocket 3 is, compared to something like the A7SIII and Z30.

Selling an XT-4 to get a Z30 is nuts. A ridiculous idea. And the guy with the D7200 and Insta360 x3 should get the Pocket 3. He has the image quality of the D7200 for photography and he wants to vlog, so the Pocket is better than the Z30, again.
it's not. ive owned the xt4 and it's long sold. i still have my z30 that i take with me regularly. i prefer it for everything to the xt4.
to suggest that the D7200 can’t compete stills wise with the DJI is ridiculous.

My 1st camera was a used 30D. I upgraded to an 80D for video and better AF. I won't upgrade again till I can afford a used R3 in a few years

Every time you say a camera is "good for wildlife" I hear "good for shooting videos of great lakes surfers." The lakes haven't frozen over yet, so we are still out there surfing while pointing a gopro or insta360 at ourselves, but I still don't have a good zoom camera.
Get a cheap m43 camera or an aos-c and a good zoom lens. You can do that for less than a 600$ dollars. I have a nikon aps-c and a 70-300 af-p. Fast autofocus, 1080 60fps 🔭

I have canon m6 mark2 with 18 to 150mm, M mount, and is impressive compact and convenient, have insta x3 360, and insta 360 go3, and then samsung phone s21,ultra and is all what I need for my editions, but now want the pocket too🤣🤣

Had I subscribed earlier to your channel, I would have just sent you that gear since I got so little by selling it. 🤣 Really enjoying the Action 4 and my next will be the DJI Pocket 4 as it will likely have a few features improved on the Pocket 3.

Hi. That pocket 3 orange won't protect the gimble in you pocket "Peace of crap orange lol" you could snap the gimble when climbing or squatting down by the fire when camping.
It covers the lens and keeps the filter from falling off.
Will it lock the gimble? the little case that comes with it holds it in place and stops it from being under pressure in your bag or pocket. Like your video's keep going. Thanks for your reply. @@cameraconspiracies

I thought if you thumbed up a comment sent to you it was a way to acknowledge the reply was received and read / possibly agreed to.
Note about colour science. It really is down how you colour grade your footage. In your last pocket3 video Sony looked really magenta and reddish like shit but in this video where you compare A7SIII S-Cinetone to Z30 then it's Z30 looking like rubbish. It's the same for me when I was doing comparisons between Canon R8 any my sold Fuji. Once Fuji looked great but then Canon really shined and Fuji looked like garbage. In the end couple little tweaks and both looked almost identical.
It's more about lighting.
Nikon was still best overall imo. Cheers.

What I really want is an interchangeable lens mount on the back of my phone. The problem is that it needs a really short lens mount to sensor depth so that it doesn't make the phone fatter. I think it has to be Samsung NX mini mount.
Magnets. The iPhone already has a glass back. Put a sensor under the glass and stick lenses on with magnets.

@@PJ-om2wq the MagSafe charging coil could be used in reverse to power the lens, and optical communication using infrared emitters and detectors would be used to control the lens. Might need a small annular groove with a locating feature in the glass to stop the lens from sliding/rotating.
The phone could still have the regular corner lenses for quick “oh look the baby is throwing gangster signs” moments, but when you need to capture video of an eagle eviscerating the neighbours escaped hamster, snap on a 400mm and capture that moment.

@@beefchicken I don't see any reason why something like this wouldn't also work for Android. I was thinking of a M4/3 mount but the mount to sensor distance is 19.25mm so the phone would be nearly an inch thick.
@@PJ-om2wq it would totally would work with Android too. No need for a thick phone, the phone could be of normal thickness, the flange focal distance would be created by the lens or lens adapter.
Siliocne is not at all like silicone.
Why have you not got the Nikon Zf yet? It’s the full frame version of the Zfc, better in every way, has the Fuji vintage magic AND a flippy screen. Sell your Zfc!!!

Do you think one should just get a proper size camera and with good big grip, EVF and so on and a actual pocketable camera, something in between doesn't make much sense, you don't get much handling, you still need a bag and hang on neck or shoulder to carry it anyway might as well get a proper size camera but with as light weight as possible?

For some reason the R6II had all the bluetooths and wifis turned on by default and that drained battery even when the darn thing was supposed to be off, so I suggest you check your R8 if it too has those turned on.
I always turn those off immediately.
