- Got a layover in Seoul, Korea? Join me as I make the most of my 10-hour layover by exploring the vibrant city of Seoul! With the convenient express train from Incheon Airport to the city center, you can easily immerse yourself in Korean culture and see some amazing sights.
Express Train Transit Options:
- AREX Express Train: The Airport Railroad Express (AREX) offers a quick and efficient way to travel from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station in just 43 minutes. It's the perfect option for maximizing your time in the city.
- All Stop Train: A slightly longer option (about 58 minutes) that stops at several stations, but is still a great way to reach the city center.
Things to Do in Seoul During Your Layover:
- Gwangjang Market: Experience the bustling atmosphere of one of Seoul’s oldest and largest traditional markets. Sample delicious Korean street food like tteokbokki, bindaetteok, and kimbap.
- Gyeongbokgung Palace: Visit the largest of the Five Grand Palaces and witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Explore the beautiful palace grounds and learn about Korean history.
- Namdaemun Market: Shop for souvenirs and unique items at this traditional market located near Namdaemun Gate.
