I'm a GenX and yesterday I found my holy grail plush.. I found a 30 inch Holly Hobbie doll for 7 bucks. Yes!!!!. Tag on dress was cut off but I don't care. She is home and happily displayed with the rest of my childhood Knickerbocker Hollie Hobbie dolls.
You two are awesome! It's such a shame that pile will go to the landfill. So many great things. The desk, crystal lamp and so many other cool things free. I would have totally dug the desk out for sure!!!
Yes its painful to watch sometimes - like one day they are gonna kick a ming vase out the way to get to a plastic bucket to put their washing in - as sure as eggs is eggs
So cool to be able to pick up so much free stuff but I seriously can’t believe that most will end up in the trash! That city needs to open some thrift stores!!
I’m pretty sure the teapot and sugar bowl are both part of the children’s tea set. The last time I searched on EBay the whole set was selling for around $100. It came with tea pot, creamer & sugar, two mini cups and saucers and two little plates. The pieces were different colors. I have the set in the original box. Pastels.
My Grandpop would have TOTALLY rocked those cowboy shirts! He was from Philly and ended up living in Ocala, Florida and had a horse and dressed like a cowboy. All the southerners down there called him the Irish Cowboy 🤠
That “mandolin” was a pendulum for a grandfather clock! Those Reader’s Digest books are popular with journal makers. Such a shame all that goes to waste!
You guys should open a thrift store. You have all the free inventory you need to start one! Just drive around a few weeks and pick up everyone's "trash".
Wow someone should have contacted the Goodwill are shelter in that area there was so much that could have helped a lot of people it's a shame to see people to throw away to much MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD OPEN A RESELL SHOP THRIFTH STORE . ARE A DONATION SITE SET UP WHERE PEOLE CAN DROP THINGS OFF tSOMEONE COULD DO THAT IF THEY WOULD OPEN A GOODWILL . YOU LADIES ARE AWESOME I WOULD CALLED EVERYONE I KNEW TO COME PICK WITH ME
What a waste. It’s hard to see so many things end up in the landfill. Crazy that there are no places to donate/recycle things. Thanks for all you do. Love you two 🥰
It is ALWAYS fun shopping "with" you both!! OMG I missed the magnet sale! And LOL, yes, I have the same problem as Jeannine with the plush toys because they are SO cute and I love them so much!
I was just going to ask about the magnets. Also, I heard from others in the yt vintage community that you gals knocked it outside of the ball park on Whatnot!! Ur ROCKSTARS!!
Well hats off to whoever has to pick up all of that stuff in that community! I know, here, people would get a “ no way , not going to pick that up “ sticker and just leave it! Wild....great for you both to try to reuse and save from landfills!
Congrats on your successful whatnot sale 🎉 The thing I love most about finding cool vintage or antique items, is the research. When you showed the tag on the spaniel read, Crocker spaniel, I had to know why. He was given out from the Crocker National Bank, which merged with Wells Fargo in 86. Just fun facts. That pile heading for landfill is sad. Have you given any thought of opening a thrift shop in your area? Tfs always fun. 😘
I always pick up umbrellas cheap or free and keep extra in my car to hand out to people at bus stops or walking when it’s raining! What an interesting video. I love bulk day. It’s crazy what people throw away. And we have plenty of places to donate to in my area.
That pile was HUGE! Glad you could save some practical things from going to the landfill. I saw the cutest bedroom set the other week and wanted to buy it but I have no room. It was white and yellow triangles patterned. Super cute! Going through all those magnets would have been so much fun. Looking forward to seeing what you saved during the sale.
So happy to a see new video installment! That’s so sad all that stuff goes to garbage but maybe other thrifters will come by and help out. The Unique thrift store is a great source-I now look at the plush and kids books since seeing your shows. I’m glad you two have so much fun and happy there’s another selling venue you can access. It’s inspiring to see your success! Keep up the good work!🙂
That “Crocker” spaniel plush was from Crocker Bank. Can’t remember if it was for sale there or they gave them away when opening a new account at that bank.
Nice find with the Elvis dog by Gemmy! I collect their things and mostly go thrifting mainly for them. Actually from your videos I noticed that your thrift stores are actually the ones I go to! How cool is that?
Do they take away that stuff left out on the lawn like that? In the Netherlands you have to bundle things up and/or put them in boxes etc. You also have to specify the amount of stuff there will be and what it is. Otherwise they will leave it right there on the lawn and you'll get a fine of 200 euro's...😰
@@michelleraney3577 I have a steel blue one a bit larger I think. I paid 20$ at a consignment store about 10 years ago. I have a variety of colors and pieces but would love to find ♥️ red lol
