The metal rack is definitely for the bathroom. You would hang hand towels from the rod on the bottom. I would be very leary about picking up plush. Bedbugs! You never know. We had a horrible experience, it took over a year to get rid of them.
As others mentioned. The shelf is a bathroom shelf. And rod for towels. Of course you could hang it wherever you want. I found one I painted white. I hung in my kitchen and put S hooks on the rod to hang small pots from. And I put planted herbs on the shelf. It's cool you found one with original packaging.
Brass shelf is for your bathroom perfume and hand towel holder. Vinigar or Coke is a natural rust remover. That plane was worth saving. My boys love finding planes at the thrift ❤
The United McDonnell Douglas Friend Ship DC-10 was sold through the employee store probably. I'm a retired airline employee and many of these airplane models sold for over $100 new. To the right collector you have an awesome and valuable find!
If you can’t get the metal shelf clean enough for your satisfaction, Rustoleam (sp?) paint works great on metal and you could repaint it gold, or one of the many other colors they have. Great find - I hope you can keep it.😊
The plane might be a DC10 - they had an engine on the tail. Really enjoy when you go trash picking. The drawer full of Thomas trains accessories would have been good to sell at a flea market.
I love your trash pick up treasures!!!!!! It's remarkable what people throughout. Thank goodness there are people who save things from our land fill. Keep up the good work!!!!!
Oh! You rescued a DC10 model toy plane. Fantastic. I still have my Herman Pecker gator stapler. Memories. You ladies consistently find super items. I'm decorating at Halloween again because of you.❤
Wish somebody in that area would open a thrift store! Do y'all make the orange car into a jack-o-lantern at Halloween with removable decals! Y'all really could! No punkin left behind!!!🧡🧡
the gold frames i put antique valentines on scrapbook paper great finds good save on the airplane yes with the gold rack turn it the other way good job
for your frames, go to the dollar store and buy some same size frames there to replace your old frame backs with........great finds.....love the metal shelf!!!!..... ;-D
I LOVE that brass shelf!!! You could also bis play vintage linens on the bar. My Granddaughter lovessss Plushies!!! I can’t show her the vintage ones I have cause she will want to play with them 😕
You can send the rain down to Texas please!!! Love that neighborhood! Beautiful lots and homes. Recommend you two put a pocket knife in your cars so you can cut strings!
Trash picking is the best it’s most rewarding…I live in a honey hole and the condo dumpsters are always full by my house I recently found a dumpster with 80s 90s band shirts I found 1930s sports pennants like 75 of them I made a couple thousand on those so far I found a entire dumpster full of 1940s-1970s military gear clothing helmets ww11 era with classified documents I found a beer sign in the trash sold it for 600$ even some of the VTG band shirts I found have sold for 200$ I need to list the rest of em,plus I found a complete pirate VTG Lego ship with mini figs it sold fast for a lot…keep on picking people throw away some crazy stuff
I don't know if you ever do but if you ever run across any cheerleading stuff such as old All-Star Youth or school uniforms normally those type of things stick out they normally have a lot of rhinestones on them say team names on the tops with the skirts or cheer Bose we recycle those items for athletes in need we would buy them Great way to recoup some gas money have you ever ran across stuff like that
I wish Americans won’t buy so many plush, too many just go to the landfill. When I was a kid in the 70’s, we had limited toys, I think I only had two plush and one Barbie with Ken. I’m glad you get them second hand.
I would so be a horrier ladies lol A woman with no more space then you. This is why my daughter will not take me out for trash picking because I would save it all love watch you guy;s

Just a thought, I noticed the broken clown bank, if it still had its stopper, you should rescue it! Stoppers are always missing!
I had a shelf like that in the trailer we bought. That brought back memories!!

Great finds ladies! I found a vintage Union Dimple Snowman today on the side of the road in NEAR PERFECT condition

The plane, the plane, boss! That is a battery operated vintage, made in Hong Kong tin toy. Could be worth over $100.

That poor blow mold! That gold metal shelf is so cute. I like It turned upside down too.

Yes, I would have picked up that chair! Unfortunately I don't have room for it!🤣
As a stuffed animal whisperer, I love that you are saving these guys! 😊
Yay! I've been waiting for another trash picking video. I love curb alerts! ❤
Pretty sure That brass shelf is for the bathroom and the rack below is for hanging hand towels. I remember my grandmother having one of these
My grandma did also!
An idea for your frames, Dollar Tree frames for $1.25 and take the glass and back for your frames.
Great idea!!
I love your trash pick up treasures!!!!!!

Loved watching you trash pick. My friends and I used to do it in the 80s in South Carolina. Great fun.
Love you girls! Wear protective gloves when trash picking, Aloha Para
Oh god lol that Disney Pluto in the drawer16:45I had that when I was a kid & I'm in my 50s lol. I think it had shampoo in it!
Ladies, that a bathroom wall shelf with towel bar. Late 60s early 70s.

Your reactions to that creepy, crawling doll in the trash bag was laugh out loud hilarious. I would have picked that up for a gag gift for sure. 😂
It's definitely vintage. 60s/70s
Laura you didn't get the reindeer plush lol 😂 Its the worst when it rains but at least nothing good ruined.
Very often books that seem obscure are pretty valuable. Those books you ran across were worth a google search.

I love your trash picking videos. I would have picked up the Singer sewing machine, I’m sure someone will save it from the landfill 😄👍
Omg unbelievable the stuff you got from the auction!!! Cant wait to try and win one of your whatnot items. Definitely a great find!!!
The wonder pets figures at the last Dino one. 💕
So much fun to watch you pick the good stuff 😊
I wouldn't use anything abrasive on the shelf as it will scratch the finish.
I'm lucky where I am. My goodwill outlet considers picture frames glass because of the glass in them, so they only charge .15 cents a lb.
Hi J&L, Fun finds, love the gold shelf. TFS. ☮💜
I LOVE that brass shelf!!! You could also bis play vintage linens on the bar. My Granddaughter lovessss Plushies!!! I can’t show her the vintage ones I have cause she will want to play with them 😕
Doesn't it say "DC-10" on the side of the United plane??
I love the plane 🥺
I like the chair. Where would I put it?

You can send the rain down to Texas please!!! Love that neighborhood! Beautiful lots and homes. Recommend you two put a pocket knife in your cars so you can cut strings!

😮
Was that a "Willow" NES game?
Sure looked like it.
I thought it was a vhs in a cardboard box/sleeve(?)
@@minskysfeedbackyianni1302 That is what it is. It would have had Capcom on the box if it was the game.
@tkuebler9561 Good point. I was just going by the size of it.
I would so be a horrier ladies lol A woman with no more space then you. This is why my daughter will not take me out for trash picking because I would save it all love watch you guy;s

Don't you know how to dump the water out of the tubs. I saw some nice plastic tupperware like in one of them
Nope never learned! Too bad :(
