The large shells are worth good money. If you plan on listing in Ebay note that they do not allow you to sell shells that are now considered endangered species so research what you have first. Conchs are not allowed for sure. That said I live by the ocean here in Washington and I noticed that the thrift stores are selling still but they may not even know they cannot. Sorry I am kind of a science nerd so I wanted to let you know what the mottled flaking material on the conch is. It is called conchiolin. A waterproof resin-like material made from protein and sugar. It forms the outside layer of every mollusk called the periostracum. Some retain it permanently, but in many it breaks away as the shell thickens or becomes dried. Thus the flaking off out of water. You can scrub as much as possible off but some will still stick to the shell.
I love that you have a Pumpkin Car!!!! It needs a Pumpkin Pail Handle and sticker decals of a Jack-o'-lantern face. That would be insanely cute. And a "No Pumpkin Left Behind" bumper sticker. 🥰🎃
If I was able to do this, I know without a shadow of a doubt, I’d become a hoarder. I’d see some reason to keep everything! It’s just as well I’m unable to go out. But, I am happy to know others do this, every little bit helps to keep things from going to a land fill. ✌🏼❤️
Put a shell up to your ear and listen to the ocean. Comp them I believe you have some good ones, especially the big ones! Cool find. I lived in Florida and never saw any so big. Score!
Swf beach life is a good person to ask about the shells. If you buy the shells in the shops in Florida, the shells are on the expensive side. Your video rocks.
Some shells can no longer be harvested. It's illegal. Hopefully you have a few of those. Some of those are gorgeous. Make sure and do your research on them and get the scoop on them. Love you guys.
Halloween bags are so cool !! I love the Halloween tin! I love it !!! Those shells are so cool thanks for not letting those go to the landfill!!! It is so fun to curbside shop !! You all find a lot of piles of stuff that’s AMAZING!!! ❤
💜💜 The conch shells you guys can sell for a good penny, but I don’t know if they allow it anymore on eBay…. I am a Florida girl for over 30 years and shells never get old. Also Ohio girl😁
Nice finds. Definitely do the research on the shells. I saw about 5 in there that would bring really good money. The condition on a couple of the bigger ones tell me that they are older or have been kept outside. Shells are amazing with all of the different types and shapes. Again, great finds and thank you for taking us along on your hunts. ❤🐚❤
I'm from Australia the big shells are worth money, I sold a one of the shell called a conch shell for $80 I had so many people messaging me 2 seconds after I put it on line
Soak those big crusty shells and they will be so beautiful. You will be surprised. You can also use muric acid on them but you have to be really careful. Great score!
Cool shells - the cone shell is especially awesome. I collect shells - These are all from south Florida and the Caribbean. The two with the pink inside are conch shells the stuff flaking off the out side of the shell is called periostracum - it's a natural coating that when dried flakes off- as you can see. They're are also helmet shells, a beautiful multicoloured cone shell, and a large scallop shell. Just to name a few - They're very nice and collectors may well be interested in buying some of them.
I had to lol when you said 'wheres the stuff....the stuff stuff...you know, the STUFF!!"......I knew it exactly what you were talking about....hahahahahahha...... :-D
The pink thing was a gymnastics leotard in thr beginning and was jw do you have a ride across any old cheerleading uniforms for All Star cheer uniforms they have the team names on them with rhinestones. If so we can use any of those gymnastics items or anything cheerleading related if you run across any. We would buy those items
Hello, I am a seashell collector of expensive, rare, International and common shells. I plan to have a private sale this year also of my fossils, minerals and crystals. I would never throw them away.
That bag you went through , there was the arm for the skeleton, the she's put it close to your ear, hear the sound, donate them to your local childcare centre, they can use them for experience learning
Maybe there are museums or marine outreach programs that you could donate the shells and book to. Great program for kids. Am I the only one that saw the skeleton’s missing arm still in the bag?!!!
As someone who grew up in the area where Longaburger is from, you can tell by the bottom if there is a signature from the basket weavers or even from the owners, like Dave Longaberger or his children. Also there will be like a metal tag (?) plate on the front to say what type of basket it is like a Halloween one or a 1991 Christmas one, what have you. My mom used to work in a store that sold a LOT of Longaberger, and it follows me despite no longer living in the town where they're from.
I can't believe people put stuff out like that. My trash company would never take any of it. Everything has to be in a can and we can only pot one large item out a week.
Those pet prints with large eyes are enjoying a second look since the sixties early eighties. Sad backstort, abusive man took credit for his wife's artwork and when it became popular he forced her to produce more to enrich himself. Years later she was able to prove authorship after she escaped her bad situat.ion

Ebay's policy is just that a policy. I'm not sure if it's against the law to sell them
Queen conch is nit allowed, the others are still I believe.
Thank you for all the info! Much appreciated ❤
There’s no better gift for a child (say 8 to 10 years old) than a bunch of shells and a book so the child can identify them. Hours of fun!
I can't believe someone threw those shells away!! What a great find!
I love that you have a Pumpkin Car!!!!

And a "No Pumpkin Left Behind" bumper sticker. 🥰🎃
You can turn doll houses into haunted houses if you like 🎃 Halloween!

Put a shell up to your ear and listen to the ocean. Comp them I believe you have some good ones, especially the big ones! Cool find. I lived in Florida and never saw any so big. Score!
Some shells are very expensive. My mom would just go nuts over those. Cool finds!
That Halloween tin would make the cutest little trash bin if you kept the lid off 😍💜
It would! That’s a great idea 😁
Save Mr. Grinch as well..........Love him
The shells would be a great display along with the book at a library. I would use the tin to store smaller Halloween items.

Swf beach life is a good person to ask about the shells. If you buy the shells in the shops in Florida, the shells are on the expensive side. Your video rocks.
The cat pillow was a draft guard to put in front of the bottom of a door so cold air doesnt come in.
I love watching all your videos but especially the trash picking ones! I think it is great that you save so me of it from landfills ❤
No treat bag left behind!
Some shells can no longer be harvested. It's illegal. Hopefully you have a few of those. Some of those are gorgeous. Make sure and do your research on them and get the scoop on them. Love you guys.

Beautiful Conch Shells
That giant shell looks like a conch shell
Where do you guys live??? No one in my area puts anything out there like these finds! Great finds!!!
I think it’d be worth taking the shells to a pawn shop because you could probably make a little bit of money there.
Those large conch shells have just been put on the endangered species lists.
the big shells old up to your ear you should be able to hear a ocean sound.
12:55 Left a pumpkin pail behind.
Actually shells do have value especially the big ones
We have a conch lamp
The shells Definitely have value comp them. Yoy could make some money
I'm sure shells sell 🎉someone needs them for decor
Yuchhhuuuuu....love it!!!!❤❤❤❤
I think you could make some money on those shells. I think I saw a piece of "brain" coral and that alone sells for a good price.
Is it october yet I can't wait❤
🚨🚨🚨BEWARE🚨🚨🚨
some shells are illegal to sell, so get them checked out before listing them. Those big ones can bring in a $$$
The skeleton arm was in the white trash bag and I hope you took it out before throwing the bag away.
Some states you can't even sell them shells
Put them up to your ear to hear the ocean.
You missed the other skeleton arm in the bag I seen the arm at the last of the bag video
You left a pumpkin bucket
That’s not glue it’s shedding the outer layer take a brush to it.❤️
You missed the arm for the skeleton it was at the bottom on the right
The shells would be worth $$$ in Australia
Hello from Mexico 👋
Plastic house was a Bluey house
I can't believe people put stuff out like that. My trash company would never take any of it. Everything has to be in a can and we can only pot one large item out a week.
Some cities have bulk trash pickup days 2x's a year and so people allowed to put stuff out on the curb for that reason.
Hola amiga parabéns muitas coisas boas q legal ok
Wow 🎉
If you know someone that has a hermit crabs that is what they use
