Nice video! Just keep those engine speed levers at idle while taxing. Set at max just before takeoff. Its a Garret direct shaft turboprop thing. Similar engines and operation as the Mitsubishi MU2, Fairchild Metroliner and the BAe Jetstream.

TOP PANEL
1) MASTER POWER ON
2) Both BATT ON
3) Lights on as necessary
4) ALL Fuel Pumps ON
do this for each engine....
5) Push Enrich (Prime)
6) Flip Start switch up under yellow and black striped safety cover. Close covers.
7) Both GEN switches up (Generators)
LOWER CENTER PANEL
8) RADIO MASTER Switch on
9) Turn on your Electronics as you want GPS Radios Etc....
10) UNLOCK POWER Left Levers by pulling back into REVERSE (MARKED RED AND WHITE) and return to normal quickly.
11) Let her warm up and .... Clear Skies Pilots !

DO228 in Prepar3Dv4 is not ready for saving the NAVDATA from Navigraph or Navigraph FMS Manager. You cannot able to create own flightplans.

I've also been poring over the checklists (Carenado don't exactly provide much information). Any thoughts or ideas about the engine limit switches and bleeds (labelled in reverse?) which are listed. Do you have any idea if they're functional in any way or just decoration?
I also can't see how the trims are set and wondered if I've missed something.
Hi David, Welcome to the channel. To be honest only have had time to play around with the start up, so haven't spent much time on other aspects. So should get some hours in, over the next couple of days. If you find out first, please let me know. I will have first impressions video out this weekend :)

do you know how to shut down the do228 engine ?
if i try to pull the prop. to cutoff , it can't work ... :o(

+Peter Young not off the top of my head, I can take a look if you need still. Wont be for a couple of weeks. Cheers
according to my knowledge if it is on the ground and it is an aborted start - problem non electrical (speed switches still working) then you will need to use the stop switch as well because start switches are still operational untill 55% RPM so speed levers to shutoff, start switch stop to help stop the speed switches. Just double check though this info!
Shutdown:
1) CTRL+F2 for RPM (engine kill), then
2) while engine is still powering down, F2 (throttle down) until zero, then
3) push throttle slightly up and it will lock.
Flip the starter to stop in the overhead!
how do you put it on a cold and dark state_
Try Shift+4 or 5 I forget which one it brings up a menu
The props don't spool up on engine start.

Was the props not spooling an anomaly of the video, or is this a bug with the plane and do they not spool in the sim?
Hi Mate, yes they spool in the sim. Its the way I did the start up, wasn't 100% to the checklist.
