HI Filippo, nice video! I was just wondering, I purchased Pro ATC today as well, but it seem that Pro ATC does not import ORBX airport. Did you find a way to get them into the ATC database? Thanks in advance!
Just use the basic instructions provided by Pro-ATC/X for your first installation. Import AIRAC (if you have Navigraph), run makerwys.exe, then align AIRAC with scenery. That's all. There is no special step you have to take for Orbx products. Pro-ATC/X now accepts all kind of airports as departure and/or destination, including smaller airports without SID/STAR and only VFR approach like most of Orbx stuff. You will be simply vectored until your first waypoint (like in this video). Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot, that will help. But one question remains, to start a flightplan in Pro ATC you will need a departure airport. But for example 2S1 (Vashon Municipal) cannot be choosen because it is simply not there. So how do I get a flightplan with Pro ATC that will vector me out of an VFR airport to a supported waypoint? Hope you understand what I mean becaus Englisch is not my native language as you may have noticed. Again, thanks in advance!
OK, now I get your point, sorry. Yes, to insert 2S1 as departure or destination airport in Pro-ATC/X, you need to add a "K" in front of it. So, for Vashon Municipal, which is 2S1, you will use "K2S1". For Sekiu, another small Orbx scenery (11S), you will use "K11S" and so on. It works, granted. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching my video. I am on X-Plane now and I am not sure I have that FedEx livery and the checklists for the Dodo anymore. I removed most of my old FSX stuff. I recommend you to search in the AVSIM library, you should find something.
Great graphics. Did I see birds on final? Awesome
Can't remember, honestly. It was so long time ago and now I am mainly using X-Plane 11. :-)
Thanks for watching, anyway!
Hi Filippo.
Can you use Pro Atc with any Carenado Airplane?
Where did you get those cool backgroud sounds of birds?

Of course, Pro-ATC/X does not support VFR, only IFR.
