Shashur Gompa
Shashur or Sashur Monastery is a Drugpa Buddhist monastery in Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It is 137 kilometres from Manali.
Sha-shur means "blue pines" in the local dialect, and there are patches of blue pine around the monastery. Prior to the current structure, a smaller gompa existed. Chham is performed in the monastery during the months of June and July.
About Yunam Peak
Yunam Peak is located at an elevation of 6111 metres above sea level. It is a rare and highly recommended trek / expedition in Himachal. Mt Yunam is a difficult that should only be attempted by experienced trekkers. This mountain requires prior high-altitude trekking experience.
Yunam Peak is a 25-kilometer-long that offers a breathtaking view when you reach the summit, as well as a unique sense of peace and joy while participating in this thrilling activity. The natural beauty of the area will steal your heart.
