    That was probably the fairest, clearest review of one of these watches I've seen. I had a Navihawk AT for ages and even though it had half of War and Peace on the dial, it was still at-a-glance legible. It's only real downside was the bizarre 23mm lug width. Really glad to see Citizen have corrected that.
    Thanks

    I just bought a Citizen Eco-Drive Perpetual Alarm World Time Chronograph GMT Blue Dial Men's Watch (Item No. AT8260-85L) and I fell in love with it the moment I received it! Citizen's best design so far regarding both style and functions, IMHO.

    First time viewer and now subscriber. NIce Citizen Solar watch. I love the angular 1980's style of case. A bit too busy for me on the dial but a nice watch none the less. Great review

    Great video. Can you do a comparison between this, the Citizen Navihawk, and the Seiko Astron? I’m actually considering buying one of these as a travel watch. I like the dual time capability on the Seiko Astron. You pack a lot of great info into your videos

    I love my Citizen Skyhawk. It is a great combination of function, style, and accuracy. It does take a minute to get familiar with it, but chances are if you own or are considering this watch, you want it for its versatility and diverse functionality. Highly recommend this watch.

    A few major design improvements Citizen need to make in a revised model;
    The first is the placement of the 24 hour indicator. It's current placement physically attaches it to both UTC and the third timezone, neither of which it's correlated to. It's disconnected from the home time indicator, which the info is linked to. It's more logical for the 24 hour indicator to sit on the left side, swapping it across with the battery/radio indicator. This links together the correlated information and doesn't separate them away. The 24 indicator would simply sit on top of the timezone indicator. It saves glancing around at three places for one piece of info too e.g. look at the hands for home time, look left for reminder of timezone, then to the right for 24h info. This is probably the biggest design oversight.
    The other is the hands, especially the hour hand, covering up too much info, of which there is a lot. It blocks out the UTC time for a few of its hours. Also covers up the timezone at both 3 and 9 when on those positions. Alongside the functions at ~6.
    The centres (where the lume is) need to be knocked out to solve this (like the original navihawk which had a hollow hour hand). Still plenty of space on the outer edge of each hand for satisfactory lume to be applied.
    One other improvement would be a third LED light, same as those for the LCD, at the 12 position, to light up the UTC time. There's blank space on the chamferred dial and this would create an excellent glow over the watch face too, giving a very similar look to cockpit dash lighting.

    I don’t like those shiny buttons but I get it that they probably were matching them with the shiny bezel. I agree that the calculator stuff is just cosmetic. It would be cool if they made a model with all the time zones but none of the bezel calculator stuff so the subdials could be that much bigger. Good review, thanks

    Great review, I'm thinking of getting the black case version. I think my 7.5" wrist can barely handle it.

    I like it AND I’ll buy one when Citizen makes a Titanium model. It closely resembles the original gen 1 which I have had for 22 years. A very good replacement in my opinion.

    Just received this model today. I’ve had Citizen watch for years, 3 all in all. It came all setup directly from Citizen with one exception, the settings for location was not UK. I reset this and tried to update the time with the Radio Controller, it just wouldn’t do it. My old watch updated quite the thing. In the end I switched off my mobile phones’ and it updated. If you get this watch, update it where there is no other RF or noise from electronics.

      @@CasualWatchReviews I looked at Citizen US, Citizen EU, and Citizen Global. Searched with 'Skyhawk A-T'.
      Without a model ref you'll get nowhere. Meanwhile, I've found another reviewer who put the model ref in his video title: JY8149-05E (but that's the strap version). I still haven't found the bracelet one.

    After 23+ years of operation of my original Skyhawk (not Blue Angels model), it has failed. I replaced the battery, but it refuses to reset or adjust the settings. The battery is showing a full charge. What a disappointment as I have always liked this watch. I'm now searching for a watch with similar features. I have other Citizen eco-drive watches with no issues.

    The elephant in the room is now the elephant on the wrist. These are quite niche. If you like all the dials then this is a great pick. I'm not such a fan anymore but I do think that Citizen do this style of watch very well.
