Searching for Wildlife at Silver Springs State Park in Ocala, Florida | Manatees & Cold Weather

- In today's video, we head to Ocala, FL to go back to Silver Springs State Park to check and see what all wildlife we can find. We have seen monkeys there before so we wanted to see if they were out. It was a chilly day! The water was nice and blue. We did get to see manatees which was cool! We also saw a hawk, turtles, and birds. It was a nice day to be out at a Florida State Park. If you want to experience a really nice Florida State Park, head over to Ocala and go to Silver Springs State Park!

The mansion was the concert stage. I really miss going to concerts there every weekend. Saw so many great singers there.

I Love Silver Springs,kayaking there is awesome,A true natural Florida spot, no swimming though,which is why it is so pristine and beautiful.
We can’t wait to try the kayaking as well! We plan on doing that sometime. Such a pretty place!

Nice park. It’s funny how the blood thins out living in a hot state. We’d still be in shorts in 40 degrees. 🤣🤣
No, the concept of developing "thinner blood " by moving from a colder Northern climate to a warmer Southern climate is only a myth. People may often feel colder at times after moving to the South from the North, but this is not the result of their blood getting thinner

Something seems different from the last time I was there in 2004 & 2011. I don’t see one of the giraffes, I don’t see that other exhibit of Reptiles like Lizards & Crocodiles & I don’t see the Merry Go Round AKA Carousel. I wonder what they’re doing since I last visited there years ago?
Weird! We weren’t in FL then so we only know what it looks like now. They still have the glass bottom boats!
