Great channel and even a vintage car/truck newbie fan like me can actually understand what you're doing. Thanks for taking your time to show and explain everything in detail. Happy Holidays!
Great video as always. Keep them coming. I also went from an aftermarket back to the original AM in my 66 AC car. I found removing the glove box gave better access and no need to move the AC. I also upgraded the original using the Aurora Design solution. Adds FM, Bluetooth and a small amplifier with the original chassis. Not cheap, but awesome and it looks 100% original.
Just an FYI for those who want a modern radio but an original look: Retro Manufacturing makes OEM style radios with period faces/knobs but with Bluetooth, AUX, USB, SiriusXM, etc with an internal antenna option. Lots of fun customization if you're looking for an original style look. I've got a Maverick I'm gonna pop one in soon this winter.

Oh wow that's awesome! Nice move and going through the glove box! I'll remember that next time.
Love the channel!! Keep up the great content. Love the new shop.
Thank you very much!
That stereo looks great! Good job!
Thank you sir!
Got to have those tunes to cruise with!
Very true
Another great video Alf, Keep them coming.
Thank you sir
Do you have a video on brakes master cylinder up grade?
You always do a great job with these videos. Thanks,
Thank you very much!
Cool- I bypassed the radio in my 65 and put a Bluetooth system in. Then I put back the old radio just like you did.
Very nice!
John, what Bluetooth product did you use. I’d like to keep my original AM radio as well and simply add Bluetooth and better speakers. Thx

Sweet video though, you've really helped me out with my own first adventures into messing with a car that's been sitting a while.
Oh ya those are way awesome! I've installed several of those over the last few years. Glad to hear the videos have been helpful!
I’m actually looking for the stereo that plays cassettes
Oh right on. I'm assuming you're having a hard time finding one?
@@AlfsMustangGarage yeah actually I got a 65 mustang and I know they made cassette stereos for these but tough luck on finding them
@MadRetroGuy85 yup, I took one out of this car. Look on Ebay?
@@AlfsMustangGarage ok I’ll try my luck
