That will depend on your welder. Set your welder up for the gauge of the metal. Most MIG welders will have a gauge chart on them somewhere. Make sure that your inert gas (we use argon) is also sufficient to shield the weld
i wonder how hard it would be to weld in a ford falcon one? the good news is in the 60-63 theres no glovebox curve on the side just a nice area to work with
+AutoRestoMod Muscle Car Resto and Modifications i know for fact they dont- it would have to be cut out of one and ive seen many in junkyard falcons but dont have the tools to get it out
Not a good way to keep the the thing in there. That panel has structural "tension" on it and it would start to move around. If you rivet and fill it with body filler it will crack.
@@AutoRestoMod Thanks Guys I will need to look in to something someone did hack job put in radio before I got it and my 65 Mustang need the classic look. and worry about using a spot welder
Getting a welder later today to weld a quarter to my car and general rust repairs , I'm not a welder but I'm excited
That was interesting, can't wait to see the Headliner episode!
That will be a while in coming, maybe. We need to get with TMI on it.
What was the amp used for the welding? I don't want it to burn through the metal..
