A former coworker gave me at least 5 pairs of her husband's jeans that were too small for him. 3 pairs still had the store tags attacher, the other 2 were practically new. I was going to cut them apart for a jean jacket, but decided to donate them to a local thrift store. I just decided some man could really use some brand new jeans at great prices. If they were old jeans i would definitely have turned them into a jacket. You are very inspirational in your refashions. I currently have 4 men's shirts to refashion. My favourite upcycle project was turning a duffle bag into a fanny pack. It looks just like high end bags.
oh I love the crochet blanket so much!!! I would be tempted to keep most of it as a blanket and possibly use 4 squares for the front of a top? it seems a shame to cut up, especially if there's a chance you won't be able to control any unravelling.... Just a thought. Also think the Wonder Woman is fab!! has to be across the back of a jacket, surely?! love the idea of them bursting out from behind the fabric.
Greetings from Australia DownUnder 😁 Re the crocheted blanket ... you could try steeking it where you want to cut. Lots of steeking😂 videos on You Tube, usually done with knitted garments but I imagine it would work equally well with crochet. ❤😁
Some very interesting items you have made, love how two dresses in particular turned out. The robe has really nice potential. I don’t want to be rude, but be careful of the flower placement over your boobs!
For the crochet cardigan if you can disconnect some of the squares you could reassemble panels into a longline cardigan like this one at Ophelia talks crochet - her daisy Cardigan th-cam.com/video/da4l5kbcX3A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5YJbtmaTBOqhsVpq. As long as the squares are intact you could probably sew the main seams.
Thanks for supporting the #sewupcycle24 sewing challenge ❤ can’t wait to see what you make. Love the green cardigan you are wearing today x
'...clothing destiny...' - I think like this too. 😁
Yay xx
Love the crochet blanket. Would keep it in tank for snuggling. Really cute dressing gown ❤
Thank you x
Brilliant vlog Sam, thank you! Love how the robe turned out, such a lovely tablecloth fabric. Xx
Thank you so much xx

Thank you so much. Love your ideas. I'm working on a man's shirt recycle at the moment.
That turned out great - I like how you used the cut off border for the ties!
Thank you so much
For your Boden dress I think you should make a shirt with a ruffle bottom. Or something similar. It's got really cool, retro Hawaiian shirt vibes
Ooh thank you for the idea.
You just motivated me to go through my closet and find how to change things I don’t wear into something different. Thanks!
That makes me so happy xx
I’m getting inspired. My latest upcycle was taking the top of denim overalls that were too tight and adding a gathered skirt to it. It came out great
Thank you so much xx

Ooh yes that's a good idea Sarah. I am still thinking about the crochet blanket xx
Some great ideas Sam. Love how the robe turned out, super stylish ❤

You are so clever! I wish I could do what you do.
That is very kind. Not everything goes to plan xx

Lol that's not rude it's always a risk with certain patterns x
