I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

I’ve had ego since the beginning. I have the OG Mower, weed eater, OG blower, hedge clippers, and chainsaw. Batteries tend to last around 4 years. Everytime I say I’m going back to gas. I find a deal on a new battery or tool on a social platform or when they clearance them out, like when they left Home Depot. I’ve had a few fail before 3 years and they are pretty good with the warranty as long as you register it with a receipt

    • @Kitearmy

My retailer says they are working on a backpack blower but are not releasing it yet as they are not completely satisfied with the product yet. But the handheld blower will do me for now anyway. It's fantastic. But I'll keep the Ego for the quick grab and go jobs I need. Oh and the battery I use is a 1200 watt/hr I can mow five average yards and leaf blow as well before it gets low on juice.

I wish you would include the 5 different STIHL battery blowers in your testing's, (BGA45, BGA57, BGA86, BGA100, BGA 200). Was wondering is the reason you don't, because these 5 blower units all can use the "same 4 different powers of batteries offered", the AP100, AP200, AP300, AP300S and the 2 backpack batteries AR2000L and the AR3000L. Would like to see the EGO 765 blower compared up testing with the STIHL BGA100 and the STIHL BGA200 blowers using either the STIHL's AP300 or AP300S battery. I have a couple of STIHL tools that I use the AP300 battery in already and would like to incorporate one of the blower units to simplify additional battery use....The run time on the AP300 battery is totally unbelievably long and powerful. Thanks, like your testing videos!

A third important number is weight! I have the 530cfm and find all sorts of uses for it. Cleaning out gutters, blowing leaves and grass out of my riding mower, blowing out bird bath, blowing snow off my truck, minor snow clearing from patio and deck, etc. Lighter and shorter blowers make this work easier. And I've found you really don't need a tube! Makes it even lighter. Looks like the 765cfm w/5ah battery wouldn't be as useful even with the additional power. For serious yard cleanup and leaf round up my gas fueled Stihl BR600 monster is best.
