    I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

    New client to Ego brand. Dropped gas from the past to batteries. The 1420 e IQ weed trimmer was my first buy and became sold. As the first TH-cam video that changed my life and lawn service business forever, this video will be on my library as the second video to my second purchase in this blower, need to donate my Gas back blower that is still new. Did anyone else ever get this issue when buying this blower at Lowe’s? I placed my order online for store pick up, went and got it, brought it home and unpacked it only to find a Ryobi battery in the box. Took it back, the lady at the counter looked at me with suspicion, got a refund and went to pick another one up cause apparently Lowe’s doesn’t do exchanges. Got the second one home and the same thing! Ryobi battery. This time I actually looked cause I was like “are these companies connected? Like will this battery work?” No it doesn’t. Took it back again. This time I had the sales associate open the box to the last one they had & sure enough - Ryobi battery. Idk where this issue started whether it’s from ego packaging or someone at Lowe’s changing out batteries aka stealing but that was my experience with this blower.

    • @TheLawnReview

      What in tarnation. That is so bizarre. They are not related companies at all. Sounds like you had someone breaking into boxes or something.

    I went all in with E Go equipment except for the mower. This blower is a monster and I love it. The hedge trimmer is one of the best I have ever used. This is where it goes downhill. The IQ trimmer is underpowered and digs in very easily. I thought that the auto feed would be great instead of a bump head but I was wrong. When the line comes out it’s like all hell broke lose and the trimmer is all over the place. I wish I had my Honda four stroke back even though it was really heavy. Now for the worst part, the edger. It is severely underpowered, slow to get up to speed and doesn’t have enough adjustment for taller lawns. Again, I wish I had my heavy Honda edger back. Buying these two items was a big mistake and they now decorate the corner of my lawn shed. Going back to gas. Time will tell how long the battery life is on the E Go equipment.

    • @TheLawnReview
      @TheLawnReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow - thanks for letting us know. We have the edger as well didn't have any problems, but don't have super long lawns. Never used the hedge trimmer either - do you have the attachment or the full on hedge trimmer?

    Its powerful I'd consider it around 75% of what a blower needs to be for professional work.I use this for clearing snow off walkways and clearing 2x4 2x6 board chunks into piles at jobsites and gravel off parking lots.i still would like more power and would like to see them make a 1100 cfm blower.

    the EGO looks great. i own a STIHL, the power is the same, until you put the EGO into turbo, which was demonstrated. But weight, comfort, sound, the EGO is a winner. however, what's really weird is the backpack options, the gas powered are $200+ cheaper! though the handheld is great, over time and distance, the EGO doesnt hold up yet. 10 mins w turbo!!

    • @TheLawnReview
      @TheLawnReview  ปีที่แล้ว

    Although this seems nice I need something with the power of the echo pb9010 in an electric blower. I currently use the pb9010 which is a backpack gas blower and the extra power enables me to do more work in less time and it cleans better in less time. 1110FPS AND 220 MPH. It would be great if someone could make an electric blower with that kind of power.

    Most powerful blower in the industry? Including all gas ? False !!!! My echo PB8010 blows 1200 CFM per minute. Sthil Also has blowers over 1100 CFM. And it won't chew up a battery after 10 minutes in the 765 CFM Turbo mode. I can run nonstop.
    Also not a fair comparison to ancient hand held gas blower. Compare a 2022 product to a 2022 product of another brand.. Same price level.

    Good video. It exposes the ugly reality that: we want turbo for leaves. And 17 minutes only does half a yard? So then you need 2 batteries. In my case I’ll just run a gas stihl which never dies at full power which I will add pushes leaves harder than the ego does

    • @TheLawnReview

      Turbo is great for WET leaves. Dry leaves are fine without turbo.
