You know what songwriting is not easy as you think it is. It have to do with knowledge,emotions,and experience. I'm just amazed that the words that mr.gary received is not an accident. I believe it was God saying to him something which encourages him to not feel condemned ,because how many times you fail, God never condemns but he convicts.and i think God is encouraging him to come and to not feel discouraged

I'm really inspired how veteran composers/singers would just sit down a while then have a song in hand. Not to mention that this is a praise/prayer song from Mr. Gary V. which is challenging to arrange.
BTW, sometimes this is how I try to compose (my personal, unpublished) songs. I write my own lyrics then close my eyes. I then imagine a favorite singer, how he/she will sing those lines I've come up with. While my eyes are still closed, I hum the tune and record them. I'm lucky when the recorder is with me. At other times there are tunes that slipped away (to my regret) as I'm just inside a vehicle for example, simply trying to hum in my mind.
