the sound of clicking and moving through options in the start menu with the music always gives me the chills, so nostalgic! huge W for whoever made this mod
Ahhh those were the days… the days i had no control of my character bc i was 5 and was clumsy…. I was born in 2009 and as you can see I wasn’t old enough to properly play Minecraft.. but man its still nostalgia…..

I hate that most likely Mojang wouldn’t even attempt something like this despite the mod existing saying that it’s possible.
Yeah, there’s also a texture that gives you the same UI in Bedrock so really there’s no reason why they don’t give an option to use this UI

I will always play minecraft with this mod and solely this mod. This is the peak of minecraft for me.

Any version of minecraft with "hunger" is not the best version of minecraft by far.
I remember the Wiiu addition fondly... I was one of *Those* kids
debatable, but i could not pick a "definite" good version. i do like 1.16.5 a lot but i hold early 1.x release and mid-late beta close to my heart, a big reason for that being a late family member.
the "best version" is highly based on nostalgic and/or preferences though, so it differs between person for various reasons.
Modern minecraft is better to me. I don't have nostalgia glasses :)

The nostalgia is crazy with this one. I remember the days I played on console edition, such a peaceful time. Playing Minecraft like this is just pure bliss

I don't think i remember console edition having village and pillage either, had a feeling this was modded after seeing the village

didn't have effect on me, the world creation screen had the mash-ups and the main menu used to have mini games.
i just wish the mod was released earlier so that stampy could've used it to his lovely world.

newer updates added a bunch of tutorial worlds, not sure about all of them but there's quite a few.
