Dave, you should do more of these informal chats...it would be of interest to curious non EV owners who may be sitting on the fence to hear "normal " (ie. not EV geek/fanboys) EV owners' opinons and experiences of their car and ownership experiences.

Charging from 50%-80% the Battery will last for decades, even on a leaf.

Good to see a Non-Tesla view. Have had a Leaf 30 Tekna and it had some base kit that is a 'pack' in BMW's.
We, we use Electroverse and find it absolutely brilliant. The map is also really helpful more so than Zapmap
Bog standard MG4 here, we have never had an issue after 20k miles (95% home charging) - we’ve done the highlands in winter, the lakes, wales etc., all via the MG4 at less than £200-£300?

Any thoughts on the latest Tesla sackings? Been seeing news about the entire charging team being binned 😮
Feel sorry for the now unemployed. The charging industry is unprofitable, no fast charging company makes any money. And Tesla needs all available money for the AI computing equipment.
If tesla are starting to have issues it can't be good for other brands as tesla are the Kings at the EV business.

full title should read: the entire head office admin, publicity and management team has gone. He couldn't find a reason to keep them when the whole EV world is queuing up to buy and use superchargers. No change in manufacturing or installations worldwide.
The whole of the UK (non lease) - have moved to the MG4 - why would you bother with a leaf these days?
I have a 24kwh Leaf, and a Kia EV6 and a Model 3LR.
Ive had the Leaf the longest.
Trust me, the Leaf is a terrible car by modern standards. Chademo is SLOW and theres far fewer chargers for it. Then you have a passively cooled battery, thats not good for longevity. My Leaf now struggles to do over 40 miles.
