I bought the Free Pass online which includes train fare but NOT the romance cars. I needed to pay a supplement (1200 yen) for that, but when I arrived at the station the train was sold out. So I had to take the slower train to Odawara and change for the train to Yumoto. This cut short my day considerably. Plus, in late Autumn there is not enough daylight to do the entire circuit.
Thank you for your comment. As I mentioned around 9:10, romance car ticket is needed. Romance car is reserved only.We can’t stand inside. Romance car is about 90 min ride from shinjuku to hakone yumoto. Local is about 2 hours. From Nov to Feb, sun set is before 5pm.

How can I buy hakone Freepass 2 day option without the extra train from Shinjuku as I can use my JR pass to get to Odawara. No It’s not included. Romance car is operated by Odakyu, different one from JR. If you have JR pass, you can take Shinkansen but limited to Kodama or Hikari. All Kodama stop at Odawara. Some Hikari stop at Odawara, please check at the station. Get off at Odawara, and take Hakone Tozan Railway.
I purchased my romance train car tickets separately. So now which Hakone Free pass do I purchase? The 2-day Hakone Area + Odakyu Round trip" one? Or can I just purchase the "2-day Hakone Area Only" pass?
How about combine with Odawara tour? Those 2 town close together. 1day Odawara -> stay in Hakone 2 day & 3day.You can take time traveling Hakone. You can visit pola art museum and enjoy Yunessun.

No.2 is the lift from Ashinoko lake side to top of the mountain. No.1 is from top to the other side of mountain go over the volcanic area. While maintenance, replacement bus transportation is on service.

And I think it depends on size of tattoos. I have seen the person with small one point tattoos in Onsen. But there are risk some body will complain about it…

Hi, there is no one day pass. So shortest is 2 days.it doesn’t include express fee.you need to buy separately.
