Thx. We will be in Hakone Dec 24 and spend a night there and come back. It might be easlier get to buy a Hakone Freepass at Shinjuku station, and buy Romance Car tickets there too, instead of trying to figure out online.
If you have Suica card, you can enter the platform. When you enter the platform with Suica and Romance car ticket, you can ride the limited express. The entry gate machines check Suica card only. If you have not Romance car ticket yet when you enter platform, you can buy the limited express ticket at the platform. But you need operate automatic vending machine to get reservation of seat. If you have Suica card, you can enter the platform.
When you enter the platform with Suica and Romance car ticket, you can ride the limited express. The entry gate machines check Suica card only.
