Yes, best era of all time.
Ive been saying it since 2021 but Evolving Skies is among the top 5 sets ever released. Sitting amongst the likes of Unseen Forces, Ex FRLG, Aquapolis + Skyridge.

I think this video has a lot of fantastic ideas and I would like to add another...
Every set in the backhalf of pokemon sword and shield had an alt art of atleast 1 fan favourite pokemon and the pull rates of those alternative art cards were soooo low so the biggest chase card from every set had a high value from the day of release.
when a fan favourite card is in a set and valued £100+ sometimes £200+ every1 wants to chase it and it takes a lot of the sealed product out of the market
but the first half of scarlet and violet has had very good pull rates and a lack of fan favourites. the cards are easier to pull and the biggest chase card singles are cheap on the secondary market so there is less desire to take that gamble and open sealed product to chase the expensive cards. people are sitting on a lot of sealed product and it is not being opened because of this
Pokemon is now starting to decrease pull rates for SIR and it seems every set is getting more and more difficult to pull an SIR and I believe sets with fan favourites will be released in the second half. these 2 points could lead to some big £ chases like sword and shield once had again. maybe by the end of this generation we will in fact be saying pokemon scarlet and violet was the best ever
But there is just one more problem; the gimick of this generation is just not as popular with the collectors as tag team and vmax were. but maybe pokemon has a fantastic surprise up their sleeve for the second half

Perhaps the 2nd half of SWSH was the best era ever, haha. I'm still a HUGE SV Era fan myself. The IRs are sooooo good!

We all collect and love the hobby that's why we do it .. sick of everyone making videos how set's suck but we're buying them anyways putting them down but soon as it goes up in price they are the first ones buying them again
