He was also teasing her towards the very beginning of the question before she answered, so it can be assumed that he was still teasing a little bit! It's not really his obligation to tell us something he doesn't want to tell us; it's also likely that he couldn't think of anything right off the top of his head, or he didn't want to make Rachel (or us) uncomfortable. But for whatever the reason, what he said was very endearing and shows blatantly that he really cares about his beautiful wife.

I love the fact that our generation (35 Y/O and below) started to blur the concept of what are activities for kids and for adults, we now can have colouring books, watch cartoons, buy toys, act silly, without feeling ashamed of it.I see it as something super positive, I can interact and get along with younger generations. My nephews see me as a responsible and serious adult that can also be playful and share lots of activities with them.
This is a fantastic way to look at it! :D And yeah, you're right! There's no reason for adults to stop enjoying things just because they're seen as activities for kids. :)

I'm nearly 60 and I have always had the same way of thinking. Not only am I able to relate to younger people, I also feel younger.
tealosophy that's a refreshingly positive way to look at it. i always feel guilty because my dad reads serious books all the time, and naps. i remember once when i was a kid, he played the simpsons arcade game with me, and it felt so wrong.
I appreciate this generation for realizing adults need inner-child fun spaces. While we all need to grow up and accept responsibilities, it's more than okay for adults to collect remote control drones, play video games, collect knick-knacks, dolls, and other silly things. Also, that wonder with which a child observes the world is something we can all aspire to emulate. In my opinion, it's "inner-child therapy". It's good for your health to just let loose and have some silly fun once in a while. I'm really glad that the younger generations are starting to let go of that unhealthy stigma that adults always have to be serious 100% of the time. :)

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere...and I know I'm late to this video but... you may like artificial banana flavoring because its based on the Gros Michel cultivar of banana that was wiped out in the 1950s. Real bananas now are Cavendish bananas which are different. So that may be why you like one and not the other...

The problem with trying to commercially harvest it now is cost. It literally is cheaper to just stay with the heartier Cavendish then try and repopulate the Gros Michel.

The food struggles! I can totally relate. My husband is Chinese and it is such a struggle to find things we can both eat on a daily basis. The worst is finding food that we both feel is healthy.
My boyfriend is Chinese too, and the struggle is real. I got my own way of cooking and he got his way, lately we started making meals for ourselves so that we didn't need to spend so much time to find something both will like xD

I have ventured from Texas top Rhode Island by CAR so i feel I can attribute to this conversation. Driving across the US can be more taxing then you realize. Just make sure you get sleep, and have a ready supply of food so you can energize your trip.
haha don't worry! I've driven from Cincinnati to southern Texas and back by myself already, and I'm used to road trips with my family. We will be super prepared!
Fun fact about banana flavored things: artificial banana flavor is based on a type of banana called Gros Michel, which is sweeter and someone fake tasting in comparison to the bananas that we find in the grocery store, which is the Cavendish variety. Aside from the weird texture of actual bananas, a lot of people prefer the artificial flavoring because it's sweeter than a regular banana.
If you can manage it, I recommend taking a trip up Highway 101 on the coast. It'll take you all the way from Cali to Washington, and there are some beautiful things to see on the way up. The Trees of Mystery in Klamath, CA are breathtaking (any of the Redwood groves are worth seeing) and there are countless little coastal towns with local artists shops and the like. In Oregon there are a few safari parks, where you can hold baby animals like leopards and cougars, and one in Bandon, OR in particular has llamas, pygmy goats, deer and rams/sheep that wander around freely to feed and pet. Further up the coast is Newport, OR which has a great aquarium and a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum. And there is Portland and Seattle to visit if you prefer a city instead, and there is seriously no shortage of things to do in either place.
Sorry for the ramble, PNW native my whole life and I always get excited to recommend places to go for people who have never been! :D
