I think you are charming and lovely. I’m an old lady now (70) and remember those young days of youth. You are a force of good things. ❤️Also, when I was your age, I first read The Shell Seekers by Rosamund Pilcher. It was basically set in Cornwall. I do read that book once a year. Really. It is now a bit dated, but it’s such a beautiful story and has always made me want to go to Cornwall. Your beach plays a beautiful part in that book. Thank you, Maddie, for your always very sweet videos.❤️
I have that book, love it. I’m 67, but I’m not in my mind, my mind an old lady, just a little wiser than before! 😁Think I might get it off the bookshelf and read agin!, Have read it many times too! 🤗
@@djaneab yes, I’m old in age but young in mind. And I think 67 is still young. 🤣
I think it's also a film too!
@@HazelSecker yes, there is a film with Angela Lansbury. But, as always, the book is better. ❤️
Ha ha Alex “Maybe we should get a van” 😂 That’s a whole new channel!
A good rule in planting a cottage garden is to plant different species in threes or fives...do not dot plants around as this will dilute the impact and appear messy .Plant according to eventual height creating a layered look that will show each different variety to advantage. Also try to take into account the flowering periods so that something is in flower throughout the season .
I LOVED this video. I especially loved seeing Roxy playing and running...it brought a smile to my face. My 11 year old Boston Terrier's health is failing and we are devastated. She is having dementia and other neurological difficulties and she has lost her will to play and just wants to be close to us and sleep. It is breaking my heart. I really enjoyed the clips from 2016 since I didn't start following your channel till about 2 years ago, it was fun to see you from way back then!! I would so love to visit the UK and see all the beautiful places, seaside, countryside and the quaint little villages. It's on my bucket list but I don't see it happening but I can still enjoy seeing some of these places when I watch your channel. I love the walks with Roxy and the quiet little roads you walk on. Thanks for posting faithfully and giving me a glimpse of life in the UK.
Bees absolutely LOVE salvia, they are always buzzing around the ones we have in the garden!
The fox glo ve would be such a sweet addition to the garden . Every time I see them I think of Peter Rabbit . Your house definitely has that same charm. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Maddie The trees are definitely too mature to move. I’d get a tree surgeon in to cut back &/or pollard any that need it. The frui5 trees might just need a really good prune - but if they haven’t been done for awhile do it graduall6 over a couple of years. Stone fruit get summer prun8ng, apples in the winter. Try to avoid getting rid of them completely as you might regret it!
Maddie! I’ve been having an awful go lately, your videos always make me feel better. Seeing you so happy makes me happy. ♥️ My best to you!
Loved the clip from the past!
yay maddie, your videos always makes my day ! keep it up girl !
Love this... the humor , music and the content is truly lovely 🙂
Sitting in chair waiting for root canal beginning of the video just calmed me down Thanks M &A!!!!😊
Maddie such a lovely vlog. Very enjoyable. Thank you ❤️
Just what I needed today, an upbeat spring/summer vibe vlog from you! Given me a lift so thanks ❤
Such a lovely video, as always! I want to try the hairscarf look now. Love the vegan cafe/thrift shop idea 🥰
You both are so funny with the jackets ,trying to see if the camera was low enough 😂 I love it.
Roxy is so precious.
Your garden and backyard is so beautiful. I love that huge wisteria growing on your house 💜
Yes we had the northern lights here in Canada , so beautiful.
Alex is so funny the things he says about you both going out in a van 😂
Congratulations on your book signing , I love your cookbook .

M:)
Loved the blast from the past, can't believe I've been following you for so long, time flies! This vlog was all-around very much fun! 🤗💗
What a fun vlog! The plants were really pretty that you picked out! You guys were really busy during this one! What fun! Lovely scenery at the start and the end! And of course your amazing garden in the middle! Lol!
Lovely vlog Maddie, love the colour of your gladiola’s too
Beautiful country and so much to see and do!! You looked so young with your short hair(past video shown)Can't wait to see all the flowers in bloom!! Thanks for sharing with us.
What a nice beach! Loved seeing Roxie with her ice cream treat! So cute!!!
Hi Maddie, I watched the northern lights from Vancouver Island and your garden looks wonderful.
Such a sweet video. Thank you, as always. Alex is sooo funny! xx
Madeleine you always makes me smile with your new vlogs😀😀♥️♥️
Phlox are a wonderful ground cover that will slowly spread out over time and comes back every year. I have purple phlox and they were just loaded with blooms this year until a hail storm knocked them all off 😢. Enjoy your garden!
Ahhhh baby Alex and Maddie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We popped over the border from Devon to cornwall today to see the cornish sights seen lots of vans but no Aurora in the sky... thankyou for such a fun video xx
Oh the throwback video in 2016 was the cutest! We had the Northern Lights here also in New Zealand! beautiful greens, reds and purples lit up the skies around the Country, very cool and gorgeous!
Phlox are wonderful. Your smiles in this vlog were beautiful.
You might like to mulch the garden beds in front of the house with some nice dark (bagged) compost. This will help condition the soil and will give a finished look until the plants fill in :). Love your property....
Loved seeing more of Cornwall🤍
Loved the 2016 clip. Your hair 🥰 omg so adorable.
Maddie, your videos are like a balm for my soul. Thank you.
One thing I wish I'd known when I starting gardening was to buy and plant out in uneven numbers. Same theory as styling indoors; groupings of three are much more visually pleasing than pairs.
Lovely vlog. Loved seeing the sea 🌊 and the beach 🏖️ Our dogs just love visiting beaches. Looking forward to taking my Edie to Padstow soon, she loves the sea 🐶 Nice to see your vlog insert from 2016, young love ❤️ Thank you Maddy, Alex and Roxie for sharing your lives with us. Best wishes Karen x
the story about the naked people during the northern lights was so funny
❤ What a lovely video ❤ From the plants, to the seaside, to the northern lights. What more could you want. Thank you.
Delightful vlog and I loved the beach scenes w the music.
Lovely vlog
Omg dying at Alex’s Van comment 😂😂😂😂😂

Another fab video..Thankyou:)
You look absolutely stunning. Love your hair up. You will enjoy your flowers. My foxgloves are in full bloom. They would look great in your flower bed.

It is so incrediably beautiful where you live 💙
maddie, i would love to know your restaurant/ cafe recommendations as i'll be visiting st ives this summer!
Everything is just perfect! you only need .... little alex and little maddie😊
❤❤
Roxy rocking that Nick Carter middle part is a confident vibe I could use myself.
Alex cracks me up 🙌🏼🤣
Lovely lip color Maddy!
Your eventful evening really made me laugh Maddie😂, the northern lights competing with a bare bottom, what a night 😅! Roxy with the ice cream ❤😊. Nice to see Alex more in the vlogs, always amusing 😀. Thank you both, lovely vlog x
Your old vlogs are soo cute! I watched all of them when I started following you in…2018 I think?:D
'are you really going to need waterproof trousers?'
me, knowing it's rained 30mm today in 12 hours
👀
this was such a lovely, dreamy video, maddie! thank you for sharing as always
💗
beautiful music at the beginning :)
The northern lights, incredible 💜💜💜💜
Have you looked into what Haarp is.. Ppl are saying it was a result of this technology being activated that caused the light show.
Lovely blog, darling Roxie - what is the song used for the clips from St. Ives?
Ohhh what Dahne du Maurier book did you get? I love her book Rebecca.
Don’t do a restaurant…you’ll NEVER get a day off! Or, a holiday!
Have a good day .
Good Luck to you .
We desperately need a vegan cafe/restaurant in Newquay 🥰
baby alex and maddie are so cute
Whenever I see I video with a title like this I automatically wonder if you’ve got some chickens and I’m waiting for the onslaught 😜 You’d make a good homesteader
You can make etheral oil out of the geranium plant.
“Wedding rings. Lots of money… “😂
Parasol is a must👍
Love watching you. You are a beautiful girl inside and out.
Madeline just have to add this. I don’t know if any of the other Americans feel this way. It’s so funny when you guys over there say shit. It just sounds so much better than when we say it With the British accent it just sounds so much more sophisticated.😂
Garden's looking fab but the geraniums you planted in the flower beds are not the kind that will come back year after year - if you want them to grow bigger and flower every year, without replanting, you want to use hardy perennial geraniums rather than pelagorniums.
Love these videos. Anyone have any recommendations to other relaxing channels?
