The Sony A7R IV redefines resolution with a new back-illuminated full-frame sensor that flaunts a enormous 61-megapixels. Able to capture fine image detail with an incredible 15 stops of dynamic range the new sensor brings medium format quality to the A7 line-up.
A new UXGA OLED ‘Tru-finder’ EVF ensures a seamless shooting experience with a massive 5.76 million-dot resolution & 120fps refresh rate.
A sophisticated autofocus system made up on 567 phase detection autofocus points and 425 contrast points, ensures the camera delivers the pinpoint autofocus accuracy needed to capture sharp images of fast-moving subjects.
Combined with Sony’s Eye AF and real-time tracking system, this equips the A7R3MK4 with a lightning fast autofocus ability. In direct response to feedback from pro shooters, Sony have improved the weather sealing and redesigned the control layout and customisation to dramatically improve ergonomics and handling.

yeah well the imaging edge app works only half way .... i can see live view and use the phone as a remote ...but i cant acces the photos to download on phone ...

Even if they did it'll still be a great camera for a long time. Even if in 5 years people say you have an old camera it will still be the perfect camera just people won't realize because of the 15 new cameras in that line that came out

The menu of your camera is something different. In first section I have 15 pages, you have 14.. 🤔
In my camera, Circ. of Focus Point is on 8th page.
Will the pictures be uploaded in full resolution through the app because I cant get full res pictures on my a6500

Hi Ivona, I managed to transfer full resolution images through the Sony Imaging Edge app. Pretty sure I had to change the default copy image size setting in the app first. At 61 megapixels might fill up your phone storage pretth quick though. Hope that helped.

Hi JRF NET, I just confirmed with the guys at Sony Australia apparently the A7r Mark IV doesn't have a video recording limit. Hope that answers your question.

19 008 pixels w x 12 672 pixels h = 241 MegaPixels² = 3/2 = 1,5:1 = 19K ⅔ w = 63" x 42" (@ 300 dpi) = 1,61 m x 1,07 m (@ 300 dpi).
9 504 pixels w x 6 336 pixels h = 60 MegaPixels² = 3/2 = 1,5:1 = 10K w = 32" x 21" (@ 300 dpi) = 80 cm x 54 cm (@ 300 dpi).

Kaloyan Ivanov. The 241-megapixel image is created on your computer with Sony software from up to 16 shots combined so you're right the file size is gigantic. Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. 😀

Hey Goutham Dj, thanks for leaving a comment and a great question. As with everything there are advantages and disadvantages to consider. The A7r4 has a massive resolution which creates images with massive file sizes. But it does also give you a huge flexibility to crop your shots in post. The video quality is excellent and the camera uses an 8-bit codec like most cameras on the market but having a 10-bit option would give better colour grading flexibility. Like I said there are pros and cons to every camera and honestly this one has more in the pro column than most. I hope that helps.
What the fuck are circulating focus points?
1. No touch screen. 2. No xqd card. 3. You need to change to mechanical shutter once you go over 1/1000

You forgot to tell that the app has horrendous reviews
A7 III, A7R III and A9 has terrible weather sealing and you did not revealed any info in A7R IV.
no wonder the pictures are green coz of the green sensor
Thanks for the comment Nel Son, 😂 Didn't mention it in the video but Sony say the colour science has improved with the new model. Hopefully when the camera is in stock we can test it again.
One more thing: The sensor is notoriously prone to dust compare to all other cameras
