@StickyFingerz actually incorrect my friend. "me" and "my girlfriend" act as indirect object pronouns in this sentence. An easy way to tell this apart is to remove the "my girlfriend" part and check if it makes sense. It wouldn't make sense to say "This brought tears to I."
