Hello Kyle hope you re good . got a question do you have any news about those new bigger rottary engines mazda made for its new hybrid system . do you know anyone making a 2 rotor of that engine are we gonna see any youtube first here maybe ?
From what I've seen they only have peripheral ports, this would cut performance. The apex seals are 2.5mm, no performance aftermarket available to my knowledge. 10a are 30mm wide, while 13/20b are 40mm (0.66L), and by calculation extrapolated the 0.8L is 50mm wide. The 0.8L also has a direct injection port designed to shoot fuel to the leading edge of the rotor to give a more complete combustion. In addition, the 0.8L is specifically designed to to run at an optimal RPM. Lack of throttle manipulation increases reliably and efficiency.
20b insert is for mixing the air pump air and for keeping the exhaust speed up by not having a large volume to expand into . data for this can be found in cosmo litterature about the turbo manifold design // 20 b housings are also drilled for 2 x 12mm studs. the front rotor in a different spot to the rear rotors
@@KyleMohanRacing I have one sitting in my driveway. 🖤 The stock 20b is good. But with a 3" full unrestricted exhaust it is tamer sounding than my FD with hks ti-carbon cat back. Stock twins on both.
@RevelJetTV ill double check but I'm fairly certain air pumps and egr or some typ of control on atleast some cosmo blocks. Had a 3 rotor recently that we removed it all.
@@KyleMohanRacing air pump pumps air throu the ACV in main cat (air split) and in pre cat (port air). Passage of port air ends in the exhaust sleeve. There is no recirculation of exhaust gas in 20b. The shape of sleeve has a purpose, yu can find the answer in rx7 forum, arghx uncovered it decades ago)
as for s4 housings . your response is for USA only . all other markets s4 13bt is N318 so has same plug positions as 20b// USA is the odd man out and is not centre of the universe
Could you do a video on catchcan setup. Specifically venting both sides of the engine. And if there should be vacuum connection.

That's something I would like to see I m sure everyone who likes cars would be interested in that project

Kyle, can you explain how to convert to a solid 2 dowel kit? How do you make the external oil lines etc
ps the original rx4 housings have cast bumps in the water jacket adjacent the spark plugs . more surface area= more cooling
Thx
Good info
He means Cosmo Coupe* heard him say sedan.
Correct. Sorry. 4 seats 2 doors. But larger than the rx7s and possible premises of the RX8. The Cosmo was ahead of its time

There s no EGR in Cosmo. The shape of sleeve is not for noise cancelling aswell.
@RevelJetTV what do you call the mixing of air pump air in exhaust. Emissions control. ACR or air mixing. Something like that.

@RevelJetTV Thanks for the info. Air Control Valve. Emissions control.
