Anyways, even if this video doesn't get 1k likes I'll still do the unranked to top 500 on a drawing tablet somewhat in the near future. Honestly the elden ring DLC comes first :3. I REALISED A PART OF THE VIDEO IN THE BEGINNING BUGGED OUT. AHHHHHHHHHH. Also for clarification. The reason I played on 60 fps/60 hz is because my capture card only supports that much frame rate. The capture card is a block in between your console and your monitor so you can transfer the video to your pc.

I'm noticing a consistent theme among overwatch streamer's chats. They all constantly hate on console in order to boost their ego and self esteem.
Pretty funny considering the only person to reach champion 2 at all is a console tracer player :3

@lizzayy you should go watch some jay3 videos on console vs pc. Beastman, aka akaza, isn't in all of them, but you should watch the ones he is in and you'll see that skill translates no matter what platform you play on or against.
Bruh I just started playing console, using a controller is fucking hard. Took me 4 days to feel comfortable on it and I still only feel okay with Cassidy, I straight up cannot play genji at all. Mad respect for being able to do this.
You have to really mess with the settings like aim smoothing and window sizes
His aim settings were pretty much the best you can have before he changed it. 100/100 on horizontal and vertical and 99/98 aim smoothing is a must. You just have to get used to it

@@AntivenomOW for all heroes. I'm using 70 horizontal 65 vertical with 0 aim smoothing (for aim assist it's on 100 and the window size is 25) as my base settings. I just put 100 in vertical and horizontal for some characters like Doom, Lúcio Junkrat and some others, still without smoothing tho. And for the aim technique settings I use linear ramp

Wifi isn't bad at least in this game though, i have like 49 ping consistently which is pretty good
Lmfao I managed to hit #1 on switch overwatch the first few seasons it was out. I was living in my college dorm so all I had with me was a switch. Let me tell you it was hell. Pretty much everyone who played it was in one discord chat, queue times were generally around 20-60 minutes, hitscan was impossible so anyone that chose pharah was invincible.

Agh brother this was a few years ago before ow2 dropped. I’m not in the server anymore. Haven’t used discord since they did their forced arbitration shit. Good people on switch though I imagine a couple of them are still going.

What is the deal with pc players hating on console players so much, from a person who switched from console to pc. Gamesense skills will translate perfectly while (for me) mechanical skills like aim, movement, hero tech etc… only got easier playing on pc (so I hit more shots playing on pc rather than console with aim assist). On console I was masters, on pc I am masters too

@@mdc867 I mean I don't totally agree with that but once you get to the high ranks it does differ quite a lot it is way more fast paced on the pc side, not trying to say console isn't fast paced but pc at the highest rank is a different world
@@sixHundhred why does everyone always say this? I’ve hit t500 a few times on console and recently built a pc, I’m currently masters on pc and the lobby’s feel exactly the same, I only credit my lower ranking to the fact I’ve played on m&k for 2 months compared to controller for 10 years

I have to agree. The only thing that changes is the aiming style/mechanics. He's still a top player in every regard, and Aim assist allows for an easier aiming experience for someone who's used to playing without it.
@@dorrianbrooks9408yeah but the skill ceiling for aiming with a mouse is so much higher that with enough time and practice mouse aim will always beat controller aim unless we're near the skill floor. in which controller is just better at the skill floor

@@Ahrone1586nah he’s right, most of the time they just call out others mistakes then capitalise by having however many hours of aiming experience over the other team. If they just wanna feel dopamine from rolling worse players that’s on them but if they’re tryna market their UtGM as educational they have to be able to show what they’re saying from a “newer” perspective. Sure they can just headshot someone from across the map and say that “they were in the wrong position” but most players wouldn’t be able to do anything knowing that.
I had experience using a drawing tablet during OW1, it sucked. Sinked around 2 months trying to commit to it but it was a miserable experience. This might work on other games/force a certain play style, but pen and tablet did not feel good to play on through OW no matter the character I tried.
i tried drawing tablet, 2-3hrs a day of aimtraining and hard grinding ranked with a program called rawaccel it took me 2 weeks to get gm5(at the time i was gm1 on just about every account during rank inflation) but its definetly fun once u get the hang of it

Yeah, i think some guy in valorant did it. But the entire gaming community just has become so anti-casual and hostile towards people who just want to have fun. The german streamer trymacs summed it up pretty well: „There is no such thing as ‚casual‘ in gaming anymore. Look at fortnite for example, you can‘t even enjoy a win anymore because of how dehydrated you are from all the sweating.“ (rough translation from memory, couldn’t find the clip rn). And he‘s right. You can‘t just play for fun, you have to sink in multiple hours a day, preferably with coaching, just to get better on a large time scale. Especially in ranked shooters like cod, valorant or OW.
You can‘t try out something new for fun, if you do, you are throwing, should kys or (one lf the more harmless insults) have to find out that you have multiple step dads. And the devs cater to that toxicity and competitiveness. Most pvp games are becoming more and more unfun and excruciating to play for fun

Listen I started using a controller with ow2 on nvidianow and I have a whole new respect for console players. Also love Zelda reference 😊
I tried playing on a controller without aim assist and i couldn't even hit stationary robots in the practice range properly, even after a 30 minutes of practice.
So now i know how hard it is to aim with a controller
11:55 one of those things you just have to get used to. Dual zone is best for that as the inner zone on the aiming is a lot slower than the outer zone, but you’d be putting yourself at a disadvantage if it was any lower than 100-100 as it would take too long to move the cursor around

Those are good settings. The only thing that would’ve made it far better is Overriding the Right Stick Inner Deadzone as close to 0 as possible (unless u don’t mind a lil drift) and maybe using 100 Aim assist Ease in instead of the default 50. Using anything below 100 smoothing is muy bueno 👍🏻

I’ve lost all pride for myself. I have about 300 hours in comp and I’m stuck in diamond. Legs just comes on over to console and gets t500 in 3days… I’m deleting

What I notice about console OW is how different it plays and my overall enjoyment. For instance last season I got to masters on support solo whilst only playing on PC and didn’t have too much fun, and yesterday I got to gold after finishing my placement matches (7-3) but had an alright time. Console feels more casual meaning people aren’t that serious but due to that people will throw much more consistently.

I think the difference in aiming forces the majority of console players away from certain heroes. The console metas are always different cause of it.

Did you play with a pro controller or the regular one? Also I think your sense was the best you can have. 100/100 horizontal and vertical and 99/98 aim smoothing is the go-to sense, but you have to get used to it. Maybe you can continue this format on the other roles? 😅

i suggest changing your aim technique for close range heroes to linear ramp instead of dual-zone. linear ramps deadzone is way more responsive close range compared to dual-zone. people say its the closest aim setting to a mouse. also try messing around with your aim smoothing

the real difference is on console you have silvers with good aim that play like gms and on PC diamonds still play like they're new to the game
the skill gap is further between ranks on PC where as on console everyone is really just a lucky win streak apart

I hate the controller auto aim, I turned it off because I didn’t like how strong it pulls your cursor out of where I need to be shooting to lead my slower projectile shots in certain characters.

Eh, it's really about knowing how to abuse it. Aim assist is about being able to micro adjust the sticks just very finely. The main reason why people call it aimbot is because it removes some of the reaction time when people move from left to right.
Nah, MnK in this game is way better on this game. Games like Apex have it in a way that it is pretty much aimbot, to the point most pros play more on Controller than MnK.

@@destructo3457 well yeah but people think controller is super easy. Which I've never had the pleasure of playing it on PC. I play linear on OW2. The dual zone is way to stiff for me. so it's not any where near as good in my opinion. To much aim assist is really annoying to use properly at least for me.

I've only been an mnk player for a few months since switching over to PC and was controller my whole life. I've tried playing OW on controller and absolutely hate it as it feels so bad to me and I'm just bad on controller haha. Props to you!
the only way controller is viable on overwatch is via steam since you can actually change the deadzone inputs.. but even then you're putting yourself at a disadvantage for no reason since no aim assist lol

I’m gonna be honest getting top500 in console is easy. At the start of this season you had to be around d4/5 in tank. I played on pc back in overwatch1 and got to pretty much gold/plat and only diamond 4 after one tricking Lucio all season. Console sim has allways been easier for me and the player base is much lower for console
