Bonne continuation.🐑🐐🐔🐏🐖🐄🐂. Etc...❤❤
Those piglets settled right in. I admire the way you care for the animals entrusted to you. You are good stewards of God's creatures, and although they are intended to be harvested as food, you give them the care they are entitled to in the interim. God bless you both.
Got to take good care of them babies for sure. Thanks for the wonderful way you treat your animals and how they in turn treat you folks too. It's always a pleasure watching you both take care of the animals. Stay safe and keep up the good work and fun around there. OLD DAWG DREAMING Fred.
It's so great that though Rebecca is busy with work she says hey to animals in Morning and then hangs out with them when she feeds and loves on them, SOUND'S SO AWESOME Rebecca.
It's nice to have them used to you for handling purposes. that comes in handy when its time to take them to the Butcher. and yes that is the hard part most times for some of the "Caretakers" / Tenders. ECF
Rebecca-I’m 1000% with you. Chores for my animals used to take me like 2 hours every night, lol! Actual feeding probably only took 45 mins to an hour, the rest was similar to you (we had about 40 boer goats, chickens and a couple of beef cows). Now we just have chickens and I tell them good morning, have a good day and be nice, and at night sleep good, thanks for the eggs! Lol! I’m a dork but I love it 🤗
Oh absolute pig heaven, especially without the rubbish! Nothing nicer than to watch piggies romping and playing :) As for the sun, that is partly why they need that mud wallow, to give themselves some sunscreen.
GUYz, I live just south of the Oregon/California state line. Here you will see a lot of cars with decals from Southern Oregon University nearby. Thats right- SOU. Whenever I see one I think of my sweet dear old Indiana farmer granny (may she rest in peace) calling her pigs sou-sou-sou-sou. !
I recall watching your last year's video where you picked up your pigs and was very impressed with the young boy and how he was a great help. He jumped right in and helped you load your pigs. Again, this year when your new pigs were delivered, I was impressed with the demeanor and behavior of the boy. He is a winner!
Love the four little pigs are so sweet. It was nice to see the whole family come to bring the pigs and their young boy sure looked happy on the tractor. The girls loved the animals just like Rebekah does. Nice video. Have a Blessed day.
Rebekah and Evan, I hand milked every day thru elementary and high school. If you’re already handling those heifers every day, might as well get them used to being pseudo milked as well. Touch, rub, and simulate the feeling they might get later, by getting them used to being messed with in that area. The transition will be much smoother. They might not even kick after their first calf if you’re lucky.
It's good Rebekah pets those animals. And she definitely needs to start rubbing and petting the jersey she is planning to milk. Especially those hindlegs, belly and the udders. It will pay off big when milking time comes around. Congrats on the new pigs and thanks for having us "there".
The kids of the Derek's Homestead channel are some really quiet and polite kids. Nice to see you get your pigs, getting quite a few animals there and a wide variety, that's nice to see. I really enjoyed watching, I hope everything goes well with the pigs. Thanks and have a nice week!
You have such a loving heart Rebekah ! I admire your care and comfort you give God's creatures...I'm sure He looks down on you in great favor ....and Evan thank you for your understanding heart of Rebekah's loving heart for your animals. God bless y'all ! 🙏
I feel your pain! Sunday chores take twice as long here for the same reason. Saundra what’s to take her time and pet everyone, talk to all the critters and just hang out. PLUS she drives the side by side like an 80 year old grandma 🤦♂️
I sold all my breaders this past winter. First time in over 30 years no pigs. Feed hit over $700;a ton. Up from $287;cnd per ton 3 years ago. Last spring i sold off over half of the piglets at $190 each as 10 weeks old for first time ever do to feed cost. After looking over the winter feed price bulk an knowing it going higher every load. There no way I could charge enough per cut to cover my cost to take them to live weight of 250lb 7 months of feeding. 2 tons a month. I shut it down. I see I am not the only one as I have not seen any ads for piglets for sale. I couldn't remove my breader so went to sausage. If feed comes back to normal ill go again. My cow calf an steer ok as there on grass an winter a $90 1200lb hay bale lasts 3 days an grain is only used as a treat once a week an heavy the last 120 days of a steers life so I can take that an still give away 20% to people in need that can't afford meat
I will share what I did with my pigs and adult hogs to make them to be always friendly. I would rub the side of their belly and they would lay down and let rub as long as one want to. We inherited a boar that was pretty mean when got him. I would stand the fence with stick in hand to rub him on the belly. He got so use to that he would let in the pen with him. So Rebeca you might try that with your pigs and you want need the treats. I enjoy the content.
It’ll be interesting to see if the boars will get bigger faster than the gilts. Very nice family! Kids are all going to be farmers I think! Thanks for showing us the animals. Nice merch too! I like that color shirt Rebekah was wearing! Take care and God bless!
Hi..... Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
It's great to see kids doing things like this. Raise em right and it pays off in the end!
Amazing how livestock petting seems to make kids more relaxed and happy
I can’t stop watching this video, it’s the very best one. I have a smile on my face the whole time.
Quite a smile while the little guy was driving the tractor.

LOVED the smile on a little boys face driving a tractor!!

REBECCA TREATS THE ANIMALS AS THEY SHOULD. REBECCA TREATS THEM WITH RESPECT‼️🐷🐂🐷🐐 Vinny 🇺🇸
Nothing better than bacon being delivered right to your door lol
Mmmm… bacon
Rebecca, 5 reasons given for a happy healthy life😅😅
💝🙏🙏🙏 Keeping the stock friendly❣
You made the little feller days by letting him drive the tractor. Very Cool a memory e will have for life ❤
Animals bring us calmness which is healthy and good for our longevity.
The last piglet nearly obtained freedom!
Wow, I have been binge watching your videos (eating my hart out) and up pops this brand new video. Keep them coming.
And thats why you (and we ) luv our Rebecca !!!!!!
Got to take good care of them babies for sure. Thanks for the wonderful way you treat your animals and how they in turn treat you folks too. It's always a pleasure watching you both take care of the animals. Stay safe and keep up the good work and fun around there. OLD DAWG DREAMING Fred.

That is soooooo cool spoiling the pigs with marshmallows & frozen eggs. They seem so happy😊
Evan, we have all fallen in love with your wife over the last few years! Take good care of that one!

Super cute when they are this small, and super delicious when they aren't.
Pig Heaven!
I love the fact that there's plenty of shade for the pigs ...seeing as they cannot sweat and struggle to control their heat.
Oh absolute pig heaven, especially without the rubbish! Nothing nicer than to watch piggies romping and playing :) As for the sun, that is partly why they need that mud wallow, to give themselves some sunscreen.
Love mud holes they do. They prefer the shady ones.
20 minutes without water, will kill a pig
Fine lil porkers!😊

Love your place on the farm and the animal too .
I just love Rebekah!!!

And you, Evan!
She cares so much!!
Those kids are so impressive. Right at home with animals, feeding, tractors, etc. More on the ball than many in their late teens.
Snickers looks more like butterfinger lol
Mmm piggy!!!!

Nice video Thanks Phil.
Totally priceless - just what I'd be doin' too - Gotta baby 'em all... Thanks for sharing...
Really liked seeing that same family. I remember that video. Great to see the kids interact with the stock. So wonderful.
Rebekah and Evan,

TYM should sponsor them with a tractor, showing how easy they are to operate for the entire family. Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
I think they did, at least to some extent
That would be me. I would have to play with all the animals. Lol
Hello Rebekah and Evan
It's good Rebekah pets those animals. And she definitely needs to start rubbing and petting the jersey she is planning to milk. Especially those hindlegs, belly and the udders. It will pay off big when milking time comes around. Congrats on the new pigs and thanks for having us "there".
Sounds like someone is a tad bit jealous of all the critters! 🤣
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Very nice kids. Farms seem to be the best place to grow up in. You couldn't get closer to nature and all it entails.
❤❤😂😂 nice farm fair ..😊😊
The kids of the Derek's Homestead channel are some really quiet and polite kids. Nice to see you get your pigs, getting quite a few animals there and a wide variety, that's nice to see. I really enjoyed watching, I hope everything goes well with the pigs. Thanks and have a nice week!
❤❤❤❤
That was nice
The spotted pigs you could name Almond Joy and Mounds
That's gonna be some good bacon 🥓 😋
I like watching your videos, y’all and all the animals!

You have such a loving heart Rebekah ! I admire your care and comfort you give God's creatures...I'm sure He looks down on you in great favor ....and Evan thank you for your understanding heart of Rebekah's loving heart for your animals. God bless y'all ! 🙏
Rebecca has the golden touch with all the animals. Before you know it they will be eating from her hands.
Bacon on the hoof
Those are some really good looking pigs. Great video keep it up
Very nice at 7 weeks when they arrived.
I hope Rebecca keeps stopping to smell the roses 👍😃 Nice pigs !!!
Loving on the milk cows will pay off when it comes time to milk. They will be used to being touched. Hopefully the pigs will be easier to move too.
I feel your pain! Sunday chores take twice as long here for the same reason. Saundra what’s to take her time and pet everyone, talk to all the critters and just hang out. PLUS she drives the side by side like an 80 year old grandma 🤦♂️
Poor kid, he's got 4 sisters
You guys are so cute with the animals! Love your channel!!
Really adorable. ❤❤❤
HORSES NEXT?
I was looking at the pigs thinking 💭 okay, that one looks like Kit Kat. 😅
Looks like you now have a petting zoo.
So nice to see happy animals.

I was told not to give our kunekune pigs eggs?…not sure if that’s just our breed or for all pigs 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️💙

Not boars. They're barrows.
Meaning nut less.
Greetings from Florida. Absolutely wonderful! I thoroughly enjoy your farm vblogs. You two work well together! ❤️ 👏 Thanks so very much! 😊
I have not seen the garden in a while! Whats up with that!
Well, as you probably know screeming is about the only defence mechanism of a pig, so they use it a lot 😂
How much feed are you anticipating to feed them out
1St seen the Boss without a hat on lol
