Excellent device, with quartz control motors. And yes, the sound is sometimes better than that of vinyl. Checked.

I also find cassettes to wear down much less with each listening than vinyl records, not to mention the resilience to mishandling, exposure to dust, etc. And with a good deck the performance is also remarkably uniform along the entirety of the tape, unlike vinyls whose quality changes and almost always steadily degrades the closer you get to the end of the side.

@@mihaischitcu1917 It was rightly noted that listening to a cassette has its own charm. I listen on a good deck Technics AZ 7.

I have Teac V-7000 and I think your tape transport should remove without touching the face.

Good afternoon, on my device sometimes the cassette tray lid does not close the first time, can you tell me why? Thank you.

Would you rate this one above a Nakamichi 680 ZX soundwise when preferring a full, rich and organic sound with a tight bass?

You probably kidding. 8030, even after replacing capacitors with Nichicon, sounds lifeless, simple, and not interesting. Very overhyped and overpriced deck.

@@hifirulezzzOK good to hear, thanks a lot. Could you please suggest a very good deck that doesn't break the bank like the Nakamichi's?
