Great find on that front end at the scrap yard, what are the odds! If you ever need that spring for the 40 ford, you can just swap them out any time. It's not like you are going to be racing the Model T anyway! Glad you are back on the old T. Enjoying the videos, you take are.
Hi Jeremy. That is a mish mosh of parts. The frame looks like 46-48. Could be 41 not sure. If you look the inner boxing pieces actually make a box. The 40 is just 2 channels. The radius rods are 46-48 they have that dip in them. The axle is a dropped axle. It might be 37-40 or 32-36. Measure the distance between the perch bolts and compare to Eliza. That will tell you. The ends of the axle look to have been filled. That was an old school trick. It might be worth something. Look for round back or square spindles. Round back are 37-40. The spring might be 41. Or 42-46. The top leaves have been fitted underneath to lower and soften it. With a bit of straightening it will be ideal for the T. For a roadgoing vehicle it would need a lot of straightening and improving on the alignment of all the parts.

I didn’t notice that the spring was different . I kinda quit looking after I made the decision not to use in Eliza. I did notice that the spring bushings were a bigger diameter though. Your last couple videos, you were having a lot of fun!! Enjoyed those

I have no idea who started that project. I wonder if it was measured out correctly. After seeing that those were split, I pretty well knew I wasn’t going to be rolling it under Eliza. Then finding it bent. Good for the T though, and cheap! Thanks Gary

Jeremy thats a 46 47 48 front end. Wishbones are shaped different. than a 40. Good score. 😊
