It is different, more grounding, day to day ... but hang in there ... its the calm before the storm ... When this first dropped, the first three episodes came together to let everyone know how the show worked; every three episodes is a mini story culminating in a two hour finally and a brief intermission at episode seven. The director would have preferred three episodes be one, but Disney wanted 12 episodes, so they split each one into three. So if you think of it that way, it makes more sense.

Yes. I have since shared this info with John. Finally have him convinced to carry on. We shall get there. 👍👍

I don't mind the slow build - they had to establish a lot of stuff. The first three episodes were dropped at the same time - meant to be seen together. Probably was one long episode but Bob Paycheck forced them to cut it into three episodes. "People are complaining we only do 6 episodes - break it up so we give them more." (Yeah, Bob, and they're also complaining that they're short. You should be giving us Game of Thrones/ Stranger Things episodes and length. And maybe that's why you're not running/ruining Disney anymore). Besides Andor very few characters have plot armor in this series. The other characters are needed because there have to be stakes. IMO it pays off.
Impatient for you to get John into Star Trek. He needs context for Galaxy Quest.

Oh yes. We are soooooo gonna get him to Galaxy Quest. We are definitely finishing Andor now. I read your comments to John and he is convinced. Not 100% sold but at least convinced. We also have filmed Wrath of Khan now. Wanted to knock that out before Christmas
      Bob Paycheck 🤣🤣😎😎

You gotta be patient, episode 3 slaps, episode 4 and 5 open up a new cast of characters and build for a huge episode 6, episode 7 8 and 9 are insanely interesting with episode 10 being one of the best episodes i've ever seen in TV. Then 11 and 12 hit it out of the park with the finale. You just gotta be patient and get through the first few episodes
for the record i was hooked by episode 4, i can totally see why you'd feel the way you do after only 2 episodes, but after episode 3 you will quickly realize you were wrong about it dragging on, i spose if you intend to watch more it doesn't really matter, you'll soon see that this is the best star wars show in a long time

We have gotten through 4 episodes thus far. I won’t spoil the reaction other than saying episode 5 and 6 better pick up. John is convinced to continue. Not 100% sold but convinced
