Smart upgrades. Cheap and easy and a super boost for safety and performance. Makes me think why it wasn't standard equipment. You'll probably have a tad less clearance.
Funny enough, Area 13 makes a 246mm rotor with a brake braket extension that adds the needed space on a 203mm adapter, stacking them. So that does now exist, if someone wants to go from 203 to 246. Though, it doesn't work for 160. Just 180 to 203, then 246.
I know I'm a little late to this rodeo but I have a couple comments and questions.. I don't believe I heard you mention the bolt hole spacing on the sprockets is important but I did see in your link that it mentions 104 BCD, so hopefully folks will catch that if they order it off your link otherwise they might wonder what the heck's going on when they try and line up the sprocket holes. LOL. The other thing might be trivial but you didn't point out that the loctite should the blue loctite. I'd hate to see somebody put the red on there and have to break out a grinder later. LOL. I did the same power upgrades as you and get the 28 to 30 mile an hour throttle only. I was still getting that same free wheel pedal effect as you at about 22 mph. I had only gone up to a 46 tooth on the sprocket because I wanted to keep the chain guard and I noticed that it didn't give me much less freewheel pedal effect. After seeing your chart I now know why. LOL. Putting my new ring on with both original sprocket guards also was a real nightmare getting everything to stay in place while you try and line it up to bolt on. I was just wondering if while you were looking at larger sprockets did you also look for possible larger chain guard replacement ? I do want to go to the larger sprocket after seeing your post but I need to have a chain guard. Also I was also wondering why you didn't do a bigger brake rotor on the rear also. I haven't really looked on my Rad Rover to see if that is even possible. I upgraded to the hydraulic only calipers and I am not happy with the performance of the rear one. I was thinking the bigger rotor on the rear might help.. the rear doesn't even lock up as good as the mechanical break did on the rear. I should have listened to the reviews that said those hydraulic calipers are a waste of money. LOL. Thanks
Hey Stan if I want to do the front brake could you recommend a different spacer so I don't choose the wrong one? The one you linked to is no longer available. Thanks I have a 2020 RR Step through I am hoping to do both of the upgrades in this video
I have a 2020 RadRover, changing the stock 42T chainring to a 52T. Did you add links to your chain? I read that you should add chain-links when you go with a larger chainring. My name is Stan too.

Great job 👌🏽
Thanks for update
You can rename this video "Cheap Ebike Upgrades" because I have a Ecotric Sportcool and have completed the exact same upgrades. Great video!
Thanks for your video.

If I upgrade the front tooth gear in stock form does it waste more battery?
Dear Stan, can you do the same upgrade on the rear brake?
yes,
@@stanthereservoirrat5934 , Thank You Stan, whish you a great day.
Before u change the rotor buy Jagwire red sport brake pads …night and day stopping power no need for bigger rotors🤩
Hey stan great job ..you didn't have to put an extra link on the chain for the upgrade?
no,works fine.
That chain ring made a world of difference Thanks!!

Hi Stan, I think your link to 180-203 mm spacer is incorrect, Can your help, Please?
I updated the link. This one is gold, not black but it should work! amzn.to/3hBOp98
Cool shit!

I didn't add any links and have had no problems. But I never hardly use my 1st gear. I also did my Himiway with no problems.
Hey im plaing on changing my chain ring on a stock controller im thinking 46 tooth did your upgrade affect changing gears?
Just going a little larger, you shouldn't have any problem. Mine works fine.
Good job!! What is the link for your controller and display? Thank u!!
I dont have a amazon link. Get those at Bolton bikes or Electro bike world.
My 2019 Radrover already has a spacer which is the same size as yours. Can I still upgrade to a 203 rotor?
I don't think so. I'm not an expert. But that's my opinion.
👍
