I always look forward to your videos, Stan, especially your ride reports. After one month with my new radrover, my favorite ride is always the next one. Take care.
Hi Stan, Thanks for the tips. My new Rad Runner Plus is in transit to me and I find your tips very helpful. Especially the ones about loading the bike into the back of a truck. I am an amputee and got the step thru model rad runner as I think it will help me with my ability to pedal the bike at a decent rate and help save the battery. Keep up the good work!
A worthwhile presentation. I watched this while waiting for my RadRover 5 special edition Forest Green-colored bike to arrive. Sounds like I might have to go easy with the pressure washer.
I thank you most kindly for your insight and instruction. I now live in France on an Island and there are great trails here. I really want to get out on those trails and this Bike, the Radrover looks perfect for these trails! I'm 6'4" and in very good shape and I think this bike will be perfect! Thank you again, Ross
Your vids are consistent, good info for any average Joe. My ebike gets here sometime in the next 2 to 3 weeks. I'm checking videos to be up to speed with fore-knowledge, cuts down on the learning curve. I'm located more out in the woods so the mishaps can have a more substantial impact on how the day/ride finishes out. I like that you have the 'MacGyver' schtick to your approach. Thanks and keep things going.
Thanks Stan haven't received by Rad yet.i should get it some time in the middle of July planning on retiring in Dec i want to try a E bike in my travels. Never new there was a key available for this bike. Thanks you taking the time to show us your great tips on the bike. Guys and people like you who helped make my decision to buy a Rad E bike. Thanks again and keep up the great work
Thanks for the tips , very useful as I am planning to purchase a Rad R-5 this summer after a surgery and I’m really looking forward to riding for therapy and fun. Your videos are very encouraging and practical. Thx again Ride on Skip
My Rover will be here in two days...!!!! I can’t wait...my 35amp controller and new display arrived today. Just ordered the Topeak rack and bag today also. Now I’ll be able to hold those spare parts which you recommended that I carry, along with the new key that you’ll be sending me. Great videos by the way. I’m subbed.
@@billrimmer5596 Excellent, transformed the bike immediately. Tons or torque, smoother throttle response. Much needed upgrade. I purchased mine from Electric Bike World but my advice is to get the 35amp controller and display from Bolton because of a much better warranty.
Thanks for all of the helpful and entertaining videos. I am currently having to live my e-bike dreams through videos like yours and I will probably be purchasing one in early spring of next year. Keep up the videos of rides if you can.
Thanks a million for the connector inside the frame tip I think mine may be loose. My motor has a couple times quit helping me for a few seconds I couldn’t find the reason. Also I tend to be really far from base. I struggled with wether to throw away that fork mount. I saved it for a while but threw it out. I don’t need it now but who knows?
i bought my radcity 4 yesterday , only thing is , they key was lost , but its turned on,. permanently , how do i get a new key ,? if i got ahold of the store wqould they sell me one ?
On my old radrover you could use a HD74 key blank as a universal key. You can buy one at Ace hardware for $2. You don't need to have it cut, it works on all the 2020 and earlier rads. Not sure if it works on the new bikes.
What's the best E bikes for seniors in Canada? I like the Rad Rover 5. Ali Express sells them cheap and looks exactly like the Rad Rover 5 but parts could be a problem in acquiring. Love your vlogs keep them up. Stay safe. Cheers
My Rad is hopped up now, so much more fun, true 750 motor, new controller, two 52 v 20amp battery’s, and a DateX 2 regulating the batteries, I can get up to 100 miles now, average speed 35 miles an hour, would be more if I wasn’t such a fat body 6’ 2’’ 285 pounds of fast food and ice cream.😫 one thing I really like about the standard RadRovers, you can get rid of all the stock parts, and have more than enough room to upgrade everything as I did, and I still have upgrade plans, because to me that’s part of the fun, knowing you built it up yourself, it’s really a heavy slow motorcycle now, but so much more 🤩 fun. I like up grading it as much as riding it, my next upgrade will be steel gears.
Stan, what brand is the fork block mount? I bought the 135mm Sunlite brand and the QR bolt wasn't long enough. I just figured this type mount wasn't for E-bikes.
@@stanthereservoirrat5934 Good for you, I tried but could not get enough bite to close the QR. Returned it and ordered the Kuat Phat 9, haven't received them yet, hope they work. With these you have to use a your bike skewer.
How did your wait go ? ? I'm betting you are still waiting. Their stock level comments are meaningless unless it says "ships next day". Mine said "ships in Jan." Already slipped into Feb. From what I have been reading . . .. it can happen with repair parts also. Tires etc .. . .
Thank u new owner of rad mini 5 have not been out yet still trying to figure every thing out

Great video with very useful info. I particularly like the loading system you came up with!
Very good ideas for new Rad owners like us👌
Great tips! I never thought of using the front fork support as also a way to transport the bike! Thanks
This was really helpful, didn't know about fork mounts. Thanks!

I'm looking for a new bike; I learn so much from these videos, thanks!
I am a new owner - thank you for the info!
Common key? Makes me feel real secure - ha! Thanks for all the t&t!
Very informative. Helpful to assemble my Radrover.
Still waiting for bike to arrive, but I certainly will switch the front wheel quick release to the side opposite of from the disc!
Very good information, easy to understand
Almost to your first 1000 subscribers! Love the videos!
Looking forward to riding!
Just getting started. Thanks for the help.
Thank You so much for talking about the tools I should take with me on a ride , ride safe
I don't even have a rad power bike but like this man's videos
Thanks for the video, Radrover 5 ordered. Good tips, especially on the power cable disconnect fix. Like your to the point style.
Just rode mine through a blizzard with ease, these rad bikes are something else. I was passing stuck cars.
Thanks for the common sense tips! Loving my Rad!
Love my Rad 5! Thanks for the tips.
I just purchased a rad rover it my first e bike I always rode motorcycles I'm just trying to soak up everything before it arrives
Yeah we have two red rover’s and we’re always miss placed in the keys and how do you get a key from red rover
Thank you for the Tip... just got mine last week!
Would it be a good idea to drill a small hole in the bottom of the battery tray to allow rain water to drain out?
You could do that. The small pins in the connector don't do anything, just the 2 big ones. You could remove those to put in the hole.
Would love one of theses keys! You are very kind!
Great tips. Thanks for the info.
Great tips! Thanks.
Groovy! Gonna pick up that fork bracket thingy!

Can the Radrover 5 throttle be disengaged to turn it into a trail legal ebike...I live in Canada
I would be in this group. But they delivered my RADcity 5 . To the wrong place. Now I have to wait a little longer. Hopefully.
Just received a Rad Rover 5 . I live in Ind. & had bad weather , haven’t rode yet.
Good video i learned allot .I Was wonder if this bike is completely assembled before being shipped?
you have to put on the pedals, handle bar and rear tail light.
Very helpful

What is the brand of your electric bike pump?
its a no name chinese made. still works fine.
Enjoyed your video, very handy! Ride on!
I would love the universal key
can't the universal keys be used to steal everyone's batteries?
Yes sir! Bad rad power bikes! LOL! You can get a blank key at any automotive store. Keep an eye on your bike🤔
