    in my 2nd week of my 2nd keto cycle ( of 30 days ) had a break of 20 days between the two cycles and overall lost around 14 kgs :) ! thanks ranveer bro ! :D

      Positively jealous! Men lose it so fast! I am on day 7 and zero loss. Must be the IF. Maybe doing too much at the same time (IF, Keto & Plyo workouts 3/wk)

    keto is fantastic but not sustainable for many
    I think low carbs( 50 to 80 grams) and intermittent fasting is a good option

    Ranveer, a few questions. I'd greatly appreciate your quick feedback:
    1. Some say cheese is ok, but you say to stay away from it. If the cheese only has 2-3 g of carbs in it, is it okay or should we avoid? Can you please explain why?
    2. Is the 14 day refeed necessary; what happens if we don't refeed for 3 months on keto?
    3. What should the keto workouts be for a guy who has muscle mass from gymming, but also has a lot of body fat and is more concerned with losing a lot of body fat?
    4. After readjusting my macros on Myfitnesspal to your recommended protein requirements for weight loss, my keto ratio is now: 5% carbs, 35% protein, 60% fat. Is not having 80% fat going to slow my progress of fat loss on keto?

      +Wasi Saleem Hello Wasi bhai!
      1) See the 20g quota of carbs that you have, you wanna maximise the nutrition you're getting from it. thats the reason behind avoiding cheese. If you just cant stay away from cheese then its alright. but still account for what you consume!
      2) 14 day refeeds are necessary. I'm going to make a video on this at some point. theres a long scientific explanation for it. but for now all you need to know is that the refeed reboots your metabolism. long term, its great for weight loss
      3)keep your workouts the same. push as hard as you can but dont overdo it. on any cutting diet you should know when to hold back
      4)Wont slow it down. in fact this is a much better split for YOU, because you workout.

      Do you offer online health coaching? If not, you should really think about it. I'm sure many would be willing to happily pay you for your help and accountability with their fitness journey.

    Bravo! One of the better keto diet how-tos. Lots of good info. One thing i like is the info on calories. I just wish i could find a video telling how far below maintenance calories i can take my fat calories before i start to go catabolic.

    Hi,
    Thanks for a very details Kito diet explaination. Two days before, I have just started kito diet.
    My age is 29. My weight is 84 kg. I started work out 6 days in week.
    Currently my diet plan for kito is :
    Breakfast:
    1 scoop Protein shake
    1 multivitamin
    1 aswagandha
    Lunch :
    Omelet : 2 whole egg ,2 egg white, 2 tsp olive oil, 100 GM Chicken Breast
    Lettus 50 GM, 1 tsp apple cider , 0.5 tsp olive oil, 1 pod garlic
    Dinner :
    Omelet : 2 whole egg ,2 egg white, 2 tsp olive oil, 100 GM Chicken Breast, 100 GM spinach friend with 1 tsp olive oil.
    Lettus 50 GM, 1 tsp apple cider , 0.5 tsp olive oil, 1 pod garlic
    I have a question, Can I take CLA(Conjugated Linoleic Acid) in keto diet along with mentioned diet plan . My target weight is to reach 75 kg.
    Kindly suggest.

    Its 6 days since I started the Keto and I still dont see any results. I am tracing my calories and I am super low on calories. I am 77 kg so my maintanance calories should be more than 2300 but I am eating only 1400 calories and still dont see any results. I am counting all my macros and I am definately not exceeding the carbs limit. I eat in total 34 gm carbs in which 16 gm is fiber so net carb is 18 gm. Cannot keep net carb lower than this as I am vegetarian. Keeping my fat 70% of my total calories and 25% protein and 5% carbs. I am not sure why I am not seeing the results. I workout 6 times a week and takes more than 8 hours of sleep everyday. I spent most of the time sitting on chair as I am a software developer but i think that should not be the reason.

    New sub here...great videos...just when you discuss carbs, are you referring more towards carbs in general or net carbs? I just get alot of conflicting answers on this. I've been on keto for a month now and mostly track just net carbs, although 90% of my carbs come from leafy green veggies.

      Strict - Stay under 20g of net carbs a day.
      Net Carbs equals your Total Day of Carbs minus Total Day of Fiber
      Example for a days worth of eating: You ate 30g carbs and also ate 10g of fiber. Your total carbs for the day would be 20g which would leave you in the sweet spot for Keto. Hope this helps

    Can you please make the series for beginner skinny guy to gain weight (atleast 20Kgs) & build muscle as well, like u doing for fat loss series. Make it as:
    1.Diets plans (if possible for office going people for around 2500 calorie)
    2.Workout plans for 1st month (full body)
    3.Workout plans for 2nd month (Upper body + Lower body)
    4.Workout plans for 3rd month (Isolation Exercises)
    Will be really helpful for guys like me.

    Very good information. Just to mention, a lot of dairy is actually perfectly fine in a keto diet. Full fat cream for your coffee or cheese is a great way to add flavor. Blue cheese, brie, mozarella, cottage cheese, parmesan, cream cheese to name a few, definitely have a place in a ketogenic diet. No milk, no low-fat cheeses though.

      4 whole egg omlet with 1 teaspoon olive oil
      Lunch:
      grilled chicken breast/thigh(ur choice i cycle through them)
      olive oil 1 tbspn
      cabbage a little grilled
      Dinner:
      grilled fish/chcken(ur choice i cycle through them)
      butter 1 to 1.5 tbspn
      cabbage a little grilled
      Snacks:
      20 peanuts
      thats all i eat bro

      +sanjeevani sihag Thank you brother! glad you like my content. I personally wouldnt recommend it to someone who is still growing. I feel at that age, nutrition is your main game. So avoid if under 22. But in saying that, 30 days of keto wont have an insane effect on long term things

    I couldn't withstand kito. But have lost couple of KG's in last one month due to cutting on crappy food I used to eat outside. No fat burner or supplements yet.

      @@user-zt6mb7nf3i I used to get extremely fatigued and headaches for some reason, even when my activities were controlled. Decided better to just cut the crappy food and sticking to more normal way of staying healthy. I was not too overweight to begin with, just 8-10 pounds more so it was not that bad to sticking to regular way tbh

    Hey,
    In keto diet there is only 5% of protein is recommend and you eat fish, chicken, protein shakes so is it not more than 5%? confused! :/

      There is Leto for medical purposes such as epilepsy. Dieting for such is much more strict than keto for weight loss. We all have different protein requirements depending on how we train. Gluconeogenisis doesn't happen as easy as most people think. Don't get hung up on numbers, just keep the carbs really low. My max is 30g net. My protein is around 120g. 1.5g/kg.

    Decent video, a lot of good advice. Author John Kiefer for carb backloading and Carb Nite, recommends high glyemic carbs, and I actually tend to agree. Still, your recommendations are great for people under 150 pounds and the general person just looking to lose some fat.

    protein shakes have carbs in them - more than carrots & beets ( though, avoid beets as the carbs in them sugar heavily)

    Hi Ranveer, thanks for all the info. I am planning to go on Keto diet, but at the same time, i am not looking to take any kind of supplements. So, can u pls tell me, if there is any alternative way of consuming other nutrients that may lack because of this diet, organically??? i mean through some kind of veggies or fruits etc. Looking forward to your response.

    How much calories should women consume when on a keto? I usually burn 350-400 kcal on a good day in the gym. I weigh 69 kg and 163 cm tall.

    I am absolute beginner, (age 64,),am I supposed to do full body workouts daily or on alternate days to give" rest" to muscles?Am I required to wear supporter?My primary aim is to prevent loss of muscle mass during weight loss.     Wait, some dairy, full fat, is very low or no carb. Cheeses, Almond & and Cashew milk, & sour cream. I thought these were allowed on Keto?

Just a question " I am planning to start gym after long and all I used to do was cardio (because of this I don't have good lean mass and strength in body)but now I am looking to build muscles and lose fat as I am 12 kgs above my ideal weight. I can control my cravings for carbs, so is it okay to do keto in my case??

      I would think that any extra fiber is going to be completely fine, considering your body doesn't digest it.

      supplement with magnesium. You can buy magnesium citrate online in powdered form. Start off with half a teaspoon dissolved in water a day. If still getting constipated increase to one teaspoon.

    for indians: the only reason for me not breaking keto diet was this atta, it has some carb but i am not that disciplined to do keto diet eating only chicken,veggies and eggs, i need roti/chapati. helped me get through keto diet, will recommend everyone nutroactive brownxatta

    it takes roughly 2 weeks for your body to get into a ketosis state. if you eat normal every two weeks, arnt you just doing an on/off ketosis diet for 2 weeks?

    Are the Monster Zero Ultra energy drinks keto-compliant? it says 0 gm of sugar 1 gm of carb . on the label
