Can you trench across the front of the building close and then out to the sides? Put in some of that drainage pipes with holes in it and cover with gravel. While flooding sucks sure beats some of that tornado damage that has been being shown!
Glad other than facing this annoying issue your collection is safe!

What you are describing is essentially what I suggested to the contractor, possibly utilizing a culvert under the driveway section. Alas! You are right, though, at least the collection has been safe from tornadoes and the like so far.

@@unlovedautos Other than possible rot and mold issues caused by it that should be a pretty low cost repair. Just annoying the contractor didn't get it right from the start!

Good grief! What a hassle for you that could have been avoided had your contractor used some common sense 😡

His dirt work definitely left something to be desired. Alas.

    I know a good lawyer. 😉
I’m sure a good drainage guy can give you some ideas. Good luck.

The last “good drainage guy” accomplished little. One other one wanted do a lot of work on the side of the building where there are no issues. Drives me crazy.

His autos are unloved. He hates precipitation. People who stop to talk annoy him. And contractors never do what he wants (and pays?) them to do. Got it.🤨
