Misha needs to receive free Fractals for life. he was one of the early champions of like 15 years ago 2010 era for people around my age. Whenever i saw a video from that era of youtube of Misha, he was rocking or talking about the Fractal. he's always shown it in a great light
It’s funny to see Misha telling us who sold the Axe FX to him, because he sold the Axe FX 2 to me 11 years ago, today I have the 3rd, and I won’t go back, and for this, thank you Meesha
Cutting 4k has been a game changer for me.Used to get ear fatigue using a real cab but now can rehearse for 4 hrs and be fine and because its a surgical cut it doesn't just take all the top end off
1) That's their secret sauce. Whats makes their sound their sound. 2) We already have a problem where lots of modern metal bands and just about every modern metal bedroom warrior all sound the same cuz their just trying to copy Nolly. Just tweak knobs until you like the sound you hear.
@@dtrmnts of course that’s ideal, but when you’re learning it’s useful to have a reference on what tricks the pros use to get a certain sound. I agree that every other band sounds exactly the same nowadays though
Pretty sure the panning is changing throughout the show and their sound guy is covering some ground. Pretty sure they swap around hard panning two guitarist and one up the middle or put through a widener in the ax
@@Manley156 what i figured out with hard pan is that only right side can hear you so i started doing 65% right not like studio 100% but i dont see alot of people covering live panning and im curious how these guys pan ambient i pan middle rythym i pan 65% left and right clean middle leads middle
Misha is hard right, Jake center, Mark is hard left. Whoever has a solo will jump to the center, and Jake will flop over to their siide (ie Misha solo = Jake pans right, Misha goes center).
Axefx 2 is around $750 on reverb and axefx ultra is about $450-$550 Axefx3 is obviously the superior unit but the 2 and ultra still sound amazing to this day. When the inevitable AxeFx4 comes out you could probably get the 3rd for $1250-1600
For the life of me, i do not understand these low tunings and these 8 strings. IT DOES NOT SOUND HEAVY. It sounds like a distorted bass, it s muddy, it s scratchy and boomy. Why???

He probably does
Imagine how much this man alone has made that company
@@dtrmnts i hope so! Misha and Tosin made me aware of Fractal 12 years before i ever even owned one
@@Sunchaserofficial facts! Misha and Tosin have definitely sold a ton of Fractals thru each generation of the AxeFX
@@iwillnevergetone5 but isn't Tosin using Helix these days?
Yes! It's a me! Thanks for the credit!

Watching this video on my pod xt pro
Knowing that I knew about scene volumes before Misha did made my day 😁
It actually says Jeiku on his T-Shirt which is Japanese for Jake
I remember hearing his POD X3 recordings. It was amazing how much he could extract from such a limited unit
It’s funny to see Misha telling us who sold the Axe FX to him, because he sold the Axe FX 2 to me 11 years ago, today I have the 3rd, and I won’t go back, and for this, thank you Meesha
you can see the flamed top on that jackson shift as he walks through, and it's pretty magical to capture that on video
FINALLY MY PRAYERS HAS BEEN ANSWERED
that Jackson 8 string is ridiculously nice.
So much clarity in the tone!! I’d be curious to know his settings.
Less gain more mids
I think 90% of the time his amp is a 5150 box letter with 6/4/6 for bass/mids/treble, then depth boosted and presence to taste
I sold all material possessions and now I'm awaiting the next unreleased fractal product so my soul can blossom like a flower. Thanks Misha
The first three seconds capture mishas personality perfectly
Cutting 4k has been a game changer for me.Used to get ear fatigue using a real cab but now can rehearse for 4 hrs and be fine and because its a surgical cut it doesn't just take all the top end off
It's all around that area. 2k-8k depending on the patch
Misha is one of the reasons I got my AX8! Thanks buddy! (And thanks Jocke)
P.S. 5:54 this is Juggernaut erasure 😤
really nice video, but wish we could actually have TONE 'tours', as in looking into presets, amps, IRs, effects, etc

@@coopercarter that’s perfect! Thanks for sharing!
@@coopercarterAre they in the “live” context or more of the solo jam friendly variety?
Just seen periphery in Asheville. The tones were fucking killer. And Spencer was on fire
Jesus that Jackson is gorgious
I’m surprised it doesn’t have an evertune on it for a touring guitar
@@weirdoku, if it had an Evertune bridge, the guitar would look beautiful, not gorgeous. 😆😆

Misha we need that HT8
I second this. I would buy it day 1
